Killzone 2 Patch - Download to PC!

I only have an aircard for internet at home right now and no way to connect my PS3 to the internet til a week from now when I get cable.

Is there any way to download the Killzone 2 patch 1.2 to my PC then transfer it to my PS3 to update the game?

Or...can I turn on internet connection sharing somehow on my PC and connect my 20gb PS3(no wireless for a week either) with a crossover ethernet cable and connect to the internet through the PC?

It sounds like it can be done, anybody ever do this?
 
i forget exactly but it can be done with the 360 all you have to do is plug the ethernet cable into your ps3 the into your laptop/computer.i think sharing has to be turned on also.but you can google it and it should pop right up.
 
Thanks. I searched a lot but never saw real instructions or proof that somebody had done it oddly enough. I will just try it and see what happens.
