Lego Star Wars II on GBA/DS? Or no?

I had been under the impression that lego Star Wars II was going to be on both DS and GBA... but now with all this E3 footage, the listing says it'll be out for everything but those... any idea what the story really is?

Wasn't Lego Star Wars one of the hottest GBA games last year? They'd be pretty stupid to not release the sequel on Nintendo handhelds, wouldn't they?
 
Kudos to LucasArts for going the extra mile and devising a 3D engine and puzzles just for the DS version. They could have gotten away with a 2D rehash of the GBA version with some superfluous 3D bonus levels (ala Episode III), but it looks like they're going the extra mile.

Now just give me Monkey Island games on the DS and I'll think about forgiving you for canning the Sam & Max sequel.
 
Dude, certain games you just do not buy the portable versions of. It's like they make them out of nothing but obligation.

I'm just not a big console fan. About all I play is my portables, unless I have time for a game of DDR... but I'm weird that way.

Also I actually *like* dumbed down graphics... talking more GBA here, I guess... I just like the old school feel. To me legos should look sorta pixelated... since they're sort of blocky in reality ;) Again, just my pref...
