Dam, just erased my file. Does anyone know a way to get back a file that was erased. See this is what happened I was saving the game and the hand started writing out the file name, but I didn't wait for the stamp and turned off the gameboy. When I started it back up the file was erased. Any ideas?

Thanks. I mean the game is good, but I'm not sure if I can go all the way through again. I was at the part where you get stranded on the island when the star explodes.

Once you turn off a game in the middle of saving usually you can kiss any data goodbye. It's usually a good idea to save inmore than one slot just to make sure you have a back up.

I have a question.People say this is about a 20 hour game. How much do i have left to go if im at the part when you have to escort the princess through that desert place?I imagine im probably not even half done.

BAHA! Everyone knows not to turn off your game when its saving. Its your carelessness that lost your game. Start over and take more care when saving.

I don't know why but people say that this game is shorter then they would haev liked, now dont mind me or anything but this is a portable system people!!!! i mean i don't mind games that are 40 hours long but thats a teeny bit long on such a small screen. u know? I think 20 hours is very long esp because its a portable screen. its a fun and colorful quirky cool game that i absolutely adore, and im having a blast. And besides, if it ends soon on me (im at the underground water level??) Then i'll jus start over, because it was soo much fun.

I feel your pain. My GBA dropped while it was saving. Very painful. Read about it here: http://cheapassgamer.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6796&highlight=
