I've been looking everywhere for the VHS version becuase i thought it was only in that format. Well i guess i got lucky. When i was looking for a present for my gf i ran a search for it thinking it wasnt going to find it. But it was there for 8.99 with free shipping. The moving just got released a couple of days ago. i can't wait to watch it. Anyone else like this movie?

I remember it, but I didn't remember that Don Cheadle was in it. Apparently, it was his first feature film role (I am pretty sure it was a very small part). A definite 80s movie, I wouldn't really expect it to have aged well, but it could be worth one more viewing to find out.

I remember it, vaguely. Agreed, thought it was a typical 80's comedy, but don't think I'd enjoy it again. I remember what's her name, Wendi Jo Sperber I think, drinking the canola oil, and something about guard dogs.
I was not impressed with Bill Murray's brother, he seemed to try to do Bill's schtick, but not as good.

I loved this movie! One of my favorite parts is near the beginning, where John Murray hands the officer his license. On the license is a picture of Indiana Jones, and the theme music starts playing. The officer looks back at Murray, and he's trying to do his best Harrison Ford face... :)

i like the part where old lady who puts the flare in the trunk. I've always thought that was hilarious or the part where that girl gets naked to get a lube job at a mechanic shop. I can't wait to watch it again, it's been a long time.

Drain all your fluids (she goes to the restroom)...
Fill up with oil (she drinks several bottles of vegetable oil)...
Go out on the highway at top speed... (she's running on the highway)
See how you feel... ("LIKE SHIT!")

I looked at your topic and I was hoping for a funny story about an cop giving you a ticket. Hmmmm....I must be overthinking...Oh well, 5 O'Clock whistle...

You are correct, there is a scene of him as a cashier in a drive thru lane, where he repeats the same phrase over and over again... pretty funny movie

"when the going gets tough, the tough get going in their pants."
