OK...ESPN NBA 2k5 or EA Live 2005

I dont care about price. im leaning this year more toward EA because of the all star mode. i think i will end up playing that more then the games itself.


i have ESPN NFL 2k5 and love it but im trading it in because well im tried of it. I football but when it comes to playing them I have always Played NBA the most and longest.

so i cant decide whats better ESPN or EA both look sweet but im not sure. anyway ideas which is better in terms of real life sim basketball i hear EA has the edge is this true.
 
I'll go with ESPN first. NFL and NHL have impressed me a lot and I expect the same from NBA. But I'll probably end up giving Live a shot if I can find a good price for it.
 
I'm looking to be Sega's release myself.

I always found the NBA2k series to be the better, truer sim. Its a more complete basketball game overall.
 
I usually get the NBA2K series but I didnt like last year's version. I got Live 04 and while playing against the computer was boring, against another person was awesome. This year, I'm going with Live especially since they have All Star Weekend.
 
I am going to get ESPN. I hardly buy sports games anymore but for $15 or lower it's a price i cannot beat. $50 bucks for a sports gamv after coming to this site is way to much. Well..for a casual sports gamer anyway :)
 
what are the release dates for both? i was at ebgames, and they said they were expecting live today. so when should we expect them?
 
they are both coming out this week...and no live 2005 is not goin to be 50 bucks...its now 40 bucks...

im prolly gonna get espn...but i may try live for the all star mode :D

Definently I'm going for 2k series. I've always liked it better. And for 15$ after GGC, you can't go wrong.
