Since we got a thread on places to advoid, lets give insight into where we all should go to shall we... :D

My list:

Target - Coon Rapids, MN across from Northtown. Very nice, clean, good prices, and nice staff.
Hot Topic - Northtown Mall. Yeah their prices are a bit high but hell I got a Stewie Griffin shit for $9 so I won't complain. :D

And of course...

Circuit City Coon Rapids, MN - nice layout, friendly staff, management that actually rocks... oh, and some prick named demomanTNA works there!

What the deuce!?

Well, there is a new Gamestop in Danville, VA so for right now I suggest them.

What was his mom thinking? Hopefully he has a cool last name.

You work at the Northtown CC? Awesome! That's my closest CC. i'm thinking of heading there tomorrow or Sat. to pick up MLB 2K5. If you're working then, let me know. It'd be cool to actually meet another CAG.

Oh, and you should definitely check out the Half Price over there. Not necessarily the best in the metro area, but you never know what kind of gaming/music/book deals you might find threre.

EB Games at Boones Crossing- The staff there is actually nice and friendly, and they give me free stuff (standess, penny guides, etc.) Awesome, awesome stuff.

Damn Coon Rapids is too far for me, I like the Gamecrazy in Plymouth, MN off Hwy 55, friendly staff and there not gonna beat around the bush with you. Also the CC in Minnetonka, MN by Ridgedale is pretty nice and some really cool employees are there.

I picked up a few 5 dollar games at that CC, got a lcd Screen at the Toys R US up the road, and traded in a bunch of games to the Eb in the Mall. good tight area for a game shopping afternoon.

EBGames online - Half of the used game deals that get posted here are from EB. Great prices.

Gamestop online - If I ever pick up a new game at retail price, its from them. They don't charge shipping or tax.

Ebay - when the above two options fail

American Eagle Outfitters - Great clothes (Plus I get a 40-50% discount since I work there)
Abercrombie & Fitch - Hot girls work there since they are recruited to work.
Best Buy - Usually has games cheap when they first come out. Some good deals on DVD's as well as CD's when they are first released.

Gamestop at Village Crossing
Gamestop at Civic Center

Target on Touhy Ave
Best Buy on Touhy Ave
Disc Replay next door to Best Buy on Touhy ave

The only game store I frequently buy from
regularly is Game Exchange (dont overcharge for old games)
Occasionally Gamestop (we have 3 on my drive home) for used guides mainly
Hollister occasionally for casual clothing
Super Target: Occasional clothing item, food, pool supplies
Best Buy and CC... of course
Sam's Club: Whenever the Mrs. and I have a hankering for a 10 lb block of cheddar cheese
Autozone: Whenever I need anything for vehicle maintenance

ebgames.com-- also they charge sales tax for me
ebay.com

Walmart in Eagan, MN- open 24 hours and nearby is a Kohl's

Gamestop in Savage, MN is good. Really deserted and far, but the people are nicer than most GS I've gone to. + I got my Katamari there
Also the Burnsville Mall/Area-- Target, TRU, CC, BB, Gamecrazy, Shinders, Gamestop

Mall of America/Bloomington area. Target, Walmart, CompUSA, BB, CC, TRU are all somewhat nearby and inside the MOA is GS AND EB (sorta give off a "Oh it's you..." attitude). As long as I get my game it's fine then.. sorta

Roseville Mall/Roseville area- good to get clothes, not games, but the Sam Goody over there I did find that Futurama Vol 1 for 20.00
That area has a TRU, CC, BB, umm they're remodeling the Target near there, Gamestop, Shinders, Gamecrazy. All of which seems gloomy ish.

If there was a Fry's in MN I'd love to go there.
Shopping is for girls. Order your shit online so you have more time to drink beer, bang and flex
Blued for Truf.

I think Frys is an acceptable place for manly shopping though. Its like a candy store for adults.

I order all my anime from rightstuf these days, save for the occasional DVD from Best Buy.

For games I jump around everywhere becuase the price differences on stuff I want tends to be neglible from store to store.

My favorite tho', is the Midway Swap meet (Des Moines, Wa.) cuz there's always lots and lots of stuff, for just about every system if you look often enough (I've seen Oddessey carts for sale there!) Plus it's usually pretty easy to find a good deal (it is a flea market after all.) The main downers are 1) too many game salers/buyers means these guys know a little too well what their stuff is worth, and 2) Fade. A lot of these guys haul back the same games over and over again, and the cart/boxart fades in the sun. it sucks when they have anythind decent cuz I don't want the faded stuff.

I had no idea there were so many CAG's in the Minneapolis area. No wonder so many deals were already picked over by the time I got there. The CC $5 sale (and all the games that weren't there) makes a lot of sense now ;)

Very true. I did get "The X-Files" Season 4 for $50 there along with a damn near mint copy of Pink Floyd "Meddle" on LP for $3.99. :)

My location alone got hit hard by three guys who bought at least $100 a piece on the unofficial start of that sale.
