I thought with me quickly approaching 70 (or surpassing it soon, haven't counted them in awhile) PS3 games was a $#!* load, apparently I was wrong. ;)

Let's hope you got most of those on sale or cheap, otherwise Wow, you spent a lot of cash.

  • CoD:MW2 - dont like FPS shooters much, 1 is enuff 4 me, but this came with my ps3, and im glad it did cuz i wouldnt have gotten it otherwise, and i love it, woudlnt want any other FPS cuz it satisfies all my interest in the genre, it reminds me very much of goldeneye which was 1 of my favorite games
  • uncharted 1 - outstanding, demo made me not interested, but upon playing pt 2, i had to get pt 1, and it turned out to be almost as good
  • Uncharted 2 - even better than 1, maybe the best game ive ever seen
  • Infamous - didnt like much at first, but the more you play, the better it gets, now i like it a lot, definitely much more than when i got it
  • LittleBigPlanet - i dont know what it is about the game, but it was my first favorite till i got into uncharted 2 and just cause 2, maybe the mario-ish-ness behind it, but whenever i just wanna relax n chill out, especially to take a break from the action packed s---, ill play this for an hour or so
  • Street Fighter IV - favorite fighting game since snes, favorite series since nintendo lost its fuel after n64, and like cod:mw2, i wouldnt want another, not even super sf iv, ill wait till sf v if theres an improvement, but "super" should just be "dlc'd"
  • Just cause 2 - not big into GTA-style sandbox, but im very interested in the open world idea, so when i demoed this game, i wanted to try it, but then got it as a gift, and you know what, i f'n love it, tough call between this and uncharted 2 for my #1
  • ratchet and clank: ToD - i dont really care for it, tho i do like the design concept

It's true. I picked up two more this morning used from Blockbuster. Monster Vs. Aliens ($9.99) and Dark Void ($24.99). That gives me a total of 260. And I have a list in a text file on my PC so I can keep better track of what I have, because believe it or not, I have on more then one occasion bought a game I already had. LOL.

:D Lol, sad thing is, with being around 70 I forget what I own too, so don't feel too bad. Also I bought 2 more last night too (we need to start up a local CAG chapter of Game Buyers Anonymous) :joystick: :lol: for people who spend more time buying games then playing them (at least in my case, lately)

But you're on track for over 1000 titles before the 10 year life span is up, damn that's a lot of room taken up for games (just for one system mind ya)

It's possible. I have that many PS2 games, but it took me many years to build my collection up that big, and I certainly didn't pay full price for 95% of them.
 
I just don't see the point in having that many games / spending that much money if you are never gonna play them again. You could probably feed a country in africa with all that money lol

when i want a break from mw2 i play socom: confrontation or battlefield: bad company 2. i hated the way killzone 2 played. the aiming was way too sluggish for me.

I work 60 hours a week, but I'm a body piercer, so I make pretty good money. And I am a CAG at heart, so I know when I see a deal that's worth taking. I repair PS3s, but if people can't pay me, I tell them to give me any two PS3 games I don't have. I've only gotten about 10 games this way though. I frequent pawn shops and craigslist often. I pay full price for ones that I know I'm going to dive into right away. Sometimes it doesn't work out that way (I still haven't dove into Uncharted 2 yet), but I work so much and only get to see my GF one day a week (as I have one day off a week and she works graveyard) so finding time can be pretty tough.
