So I bought Battlefield Bad Company off of Ebay (haven't recieved it yet) without noticing that it was NTSC-J and was wondering if they show up in English on US Xbox 360s. I really have no use for it if it doesn't show up in English. Thanks for the help. Playasia said it's compatible with the US Xboxs but I want to be sure if it will be 100% English

I know it will play it but I was wondering if it is fully translated when it runs. Some games like the NTSC version of Lost Odyssey don't have the menus in English but I'm hoping this game does since it's a bit more hyped game and from EA.

i think the general rule is, if its a japanese made game, it'll only comes packed with its original language (which is japanese). they usually translate them later on.. with this in mind, all the us made games comes packed with its original language. some of the earlier japanese ported u.s. games had english language packed in. i'd assume that the later ports for other (region free) games would be the same.

You're missing the question. I am fully aware that the NTSC-J version of Battlefield can be played in English (according to Playasia.com) but I was just wondering if the text and menus are in English as well since some NTSC-J games like Lost Odyssey don't support English menus. Some of the earlier launch titles were so I am hoping for this one as well.

of course it will since its a U.S. made game. Lost Odyssey was crafted in Japan. its easier to leave stuff in rather than take stuff out.

There are two different things, Japan and Asia version. Japanese game will only have manuals in Japanese. Asia version will often have manuals in english
