God I can never decide. I pass both on my way to and from work when I go into the city. Both are the tits.

Is there any place better? ... and don't give me the Planet Smoothie crap - they suck.

I've never had Jamba Juice, there isn't one nearby, but they can't be any worse than Smoothie King. Assholes can't even make a mango smoothie taste like mangoes.

same here its cheaper and i can put in anything i want. again its one of those things thats so easy to do why pay for it?

Walnut Street Perk.

Best banana smoothies I've ever had, and it was one of those little coffee huts.

For some reason, other places seem to screw up a simple banana smoothie by adding extra stuff. Just need ice, bananas, a little syrup, and yogurt.

There is no Smootie King where I live so I won't vote on this poll. Jamba Juice is usually good but there are some issues with some of the people they hire sometimes. I know the one near Berkeley Campus has some good people and some dumb people working there..

I've made my own a few times, but it's not the same as Freshens who use this fruit punch mix that somehow still doesn't overpower the actual fruit in it. It turns out more like mango italian ice.

When you think of it that way, why are there restaurants at all? :p

The last time I got a Jamba Juice, it was really chalky. I'd drink it and it would taste okay, but then my mouth felt incredibly dry, covered in waxy film.

Smoothie King is fine, as their drinks felt more like actual drinks.

I'd rather just make my own. Cheaper and usually tastier. And then I don't have to deal with "protein packs" or whatever else the stupid clerk squirts in there when I'm not lookin'.

Fruit is already good for you, man. Don't need to go grinding up aspirin tablets.

Never heard of Smoothie King, though I looked on their website locations and apparently three are opening up in the area. One is listed as coming soon and the other two are listed as pending. I hope they have no relation to Burger King.

Jamba Juice can be amazing sometimes. I used to love grabbing a smoothie and a pretzel from them on my breaks when I worked right next to one. It sucks if your drink isn't made right and you don't have time for them to make a new one for you though. They also have a secret menu like In and Out. I recommend trying the White Gummy Bear.
