It took 2 years, but there's finally a Star Wars game where you use the Wii Remote as a lightsaber. Unfortunate that there's no MotionPlus support, but it definitely looks better than The Force Unleashed duel mode, which had potential but lacked polish.

This just looks like it's going to get really boring, really fast. I'm assuming just the Clone wars characters are available and I won't get to relive the infamous Obi-Wan Darth Vader fight from ep. IV or the Luke-Vader battle from return of the Jedi or empire.

If this had an adventure/Story behind it AND lightsaber duels, it might be worth $50. But just a fighting game? No thanks. I'll wait for it to be $5 sometime next christmas, or maybe the christmas after that.

How is that any different from any other one-on-one fighting game (Soul Calibur), though?

I'm not particularly interested in the game myself, as I think it's just "Duel Mode" from Force Unleashed with graphics changes, but I suspect my son will want this.

The Episode III game had a story/platforming mode and the duel mode was separate from the main game. Jedi outcast was a full blown adventure with duel mode on splitscreens. This just seems like half a game and not nearly worth $50.

And unfortunately, my son will probably want this too.
