My SMB Deluxe (ordered with my $20 voucher from Phantom Dust) came from gamestop.com today and I notice it has a seal unlike the seal on every other Xbox game I've seen.

It looked fairly professional, just different. Does anyone know if SMB should have the same seal as everything else or is it different?

Just to clarify I'm talking about the sticker seal that goes over the side of the game to seal it shut. (Under the shrink wrap)

I opened it and everything looks fine, just curious if GS is selling resealed games as new on their site.

The security seals for Xbox games have changed within the past couple of months. They are no longer long & white, but rather they are smaller and have a light greenish color to them. Is this the kind of seal you are talking about?

That's probably it. I think the most recent thing I bought new was Phantom Dust, so I guess they changed between then and now.

Yeah they recently changed the stripe from the plain white ones to something more with a red to greenish gradient on it. Kinda looks like the system requirements stickers on Microsoft PC products. I think Halo 2 was one of the first to sport the new stripes.

i noticed the sticker on all my recently purchased games as well. i think they look better now...but it really doesn't matter because we are all going to tear it off anyways.
