Target's return policy for books

they bought me the new harry potter book from target, but i already had boughten it. they also gaved me the original receipt and the gift receipt. Could i return or exchange a book at target it hasn't even been read? i read the back of the receipt and it didn't mention anything about books. thanks for any help.

If you have the receipt, and the book is in new condition, you can return it. I don't know about whether you get cash or store credit, though. Most likely, you'll get credit in whatever form you paid for it in.

Yeah, I bought a book at Target once just to find a copy at the library an hour later - they'll accept returns. Just make sure you do it like as soon as possible!
