Hey, Who all has watched this show? I thought it was a great show and still dont know why it was canceled. I haven't been able to track down the 3 seasons that were released on dvd. I have seen them on ebay and amazon marketplace. I don't wanna pay $60 or more for a used copy per set.

Anyone have this for sale or know where it would be available at a decent price on the net?

Official reason given was "It's 2006 and he still has Bart Simpson hair."

The DVD is out of print, but the good news is: Max Headroom is coming to DVD on August 6th! (I was going to make a new thread about it, but figured I'd hide it in here instead)



Related because it was released 20 years prior to Titus yet he looks like his twin brother with cooler hair and a stutter.
 
I snagged them back when Deep Discount did the B1G1 sales and got them dirt cheap, less than $25 for all three if I remember correctly.
 
I lucked out too, with B1G1 on Amazon at a cheap price. Watched them [didnt like S3 as much as s1/S2, but still great], but now I'm waiting for someone to buy my marked up resale copies. Doesn't sound like it'll be you.
 
Good show.

The favorite line I remember it was when child Titus was in the store with his dad, Titus sees two rednecks buying guns and Titus asks his dad if he can get one. His dad looks at him and says "We dont need a gun, the men in our family have penises"
 
I paid full price for them back when they first came out, which is fine because it was always one of my favorite shows. I'm pissed they canceled it, but it should have been expected considering it was on the FOX network. They seem to cancel all their good shows.

I had no clue these were out of print. I almost sold mine a few months back too when I really needed the cash! Damn, thats just luck. Good luck finding them. :) Such a great show.

I didn't realize these were out of print, glad i bought both sets a while back. Show was hilarious, Stacy Keech was one of the funniest tv dads ever.

EXCLUSIVE: Christopher Titus is back at Fox with a new comedy project loosely based on his life. Titus’ eponymous sitcom ran on Fox for three seasons before being abruptly cancelled in 2002. In the show, which Titus co-created with Jack Kenny and Brian Hargrove, he starred as a version of himself surrounded by his dimwitted stepbrother, his girlfriend, his goody-goody friend and his lewd, multiple-divorced father.

Titus’ new project picks up eight years later in the life of the comedian who has gone through a marriage and a divorce since the end of his Fox series. In the new show, which has received a script order by the network, Titus would star as a current version of himself, dealing with his great new girlfriend and her solid family as well as his crazy ex-wife.

Titus is writing the script with sitcom veteran Michael Glouberman. The two are executive producing with Warren Littlefield who was key in putting the project together. 20th TV is producing. Titus is with Gersh and The Collective; Littlefield and Glouberman are with CAA.

I'm surprised he'd want to work with Fox after they canceled the first one. Either way it doesn't sound so great, Titus is great, but the whole cast made the first show.

It's out of print. The only way you are going to find it is used and the prices are jacked due to it being rare.

It'd be great if most of the cast could return actually, but it definitely needs Stacy.
 
yeah i know the prices are sooo high and expensive. I'm still looking and hoping to find a deal.

I'm also looking for a few other tv series which seem to either be oop or never released in the US

If anyone wants to own the complete run of Titus let me know. I'd be more than happy to hook you up. Just send me blank DVDs & pay for the return shipping.(Which would be media mail WITH delivery confirmation) I have all three seasons that were released by Anchor Bay & I would hate to have anyone pay retarded prices just to be able to watch the show. These would be exact copies of each disc in the sets. ;)
