Universal remote codes for xbox 360?

I am wondering if anyone is using a universal remote to control their 360? Back when I had the original xbox I found a 5 in 1 universal remote from radio shack that controlled the xbox as well. It was awesome because I could control DVD playback and my tv functions with just 1 remote

I have since upgraded to a 360 and a HDTV. I purchased the x ox 360 universal remote but it does not adequately control my tv (it will change channels and volume but can't control the inputs) and the remote with the tv does not work on the xbox

I'm looking for a remote that will co trol both be xbox an the tv. Does it exist. Any reports of people using generic universal remotes to control DVD playback on the 360? I am aware if the logitech harmony remote although it is a little expensive. Are there any other alternatives?

My Direct TV remote works with the xbox 360. I dont remember the code i put in though.Im sure you can find it with google search.

My Harmony remote works great. Controls my tv, my son's tv, PS2, Orig Xbox, 360 + whatever else I need it to. They're great.
