Not a bad week. Some decent price drops all around (looks like X-men legends is finally coming down a little bit). Thanks as always dropout.
 
Oh how I cannot wait for this semester to end, then I shall return home and resume playing x-men legends...although the $30 price is very tempting.
 
I am thinking of picking up Street Fighter Anniversary Collection for Xbox with a $5 off GGC and get it for $25. It has been really hard passing this up for PS2 seeing it for $15 at K-mart but I really want to play other people on Xbox live!

They have done it before with some CD's and DVD's. I don't remember them doing it with video games until now.

Oddworld is a good game for 30 bucks,

Just in the last few weeks. I think it's their attempt to push the Reward Zone membership and downplay use of the GGC.

My guess is YMMV on it, though as long as you have the card and produce it to them when PM'ing, it should work (in theory). As you have to pay to be a Reward Zone Member, I can see them denying it.

You get a $5 certificate, good for any purchase at Best Buy $10 or more. It acts like a gift card and it takes them about 1-2 months to process and add the points into your account, get them redeemed and send the certificates out to you.
 
Thanks for posting dropout trust. It's good to no that slowly but surely some games are dropping in prices. It's only a matter of time now till they'll be $20. I think I'll sit this one out.

They gave me the first year's worth of it for free, and I racked up $80 in certs with it. I figure I'm covered for a few years after that, even if they raised the limits to get $5 from $125 to $150.

One thing I do is swap the 10% off coupons I get in the mail to people I know making purchases that it'll knock money off of, for the exchange of using my RZ # when making their purchase. They save money, and I end up getting a couple certs in the mail from it.
 
You have to spend more than $300 at BB in a year to make back the cost of membership ... I doubt that I spent that much there last year.

The $5 off for a RZ member fits into the "not applicable with other offers" disclaimer on the GGC. As stated above, I think this is BB's way of de-emphasizing the GGC.

I'd call it severe YMMV on getting both to work at once.

I know, I know, you usually don't like to post that part, but I need to return the one I got this week and it would be nice to know if I might be able to exchange it for a different card next week instead of attempting to get a refund (my Best Buy is a bit picky when it comes to returning rebated items). If it's too much of a hassle, eh, then just ignore me.

Actually I fixed the problem I was having with the videocard I got from Best Buy anyway, so it turns out I don't need to return it after all. But thanks for replying to my message, at least you were willing to take the time to tell me that you weren't willing to do something for me....er, yeah. Thanks. I'm surprised only CC has Republic Commando listed for Xbox. $39.99's better than $49.99, but I hope CompUSA still lists RC at $34.99 like they accidentally did on 2/1.
 
Hmmmm...I wonder how BB is going to do the Reward Zone member pricing on Fight Night. If they treat it as a $10 off coupon, and the game is still listed as $49.99 on the receipt, it might be worth it to try to hit up BB with the Reward Zone price, and then bringing in a CC ad after purchase to PM the $49.99 to $39.99, thus making it $20 off. Did that make sense? It might fly because I've PMed things I've GGCed and they PMed it and still took the $5 GGC off the PMed price.
