The only one I can think of is Kameo. That would be considered a platformer, correct? What else is there for someone who likes that type of game?

Also, what has stopped the XBOX from having quality platformer games like Ratchet, Jak and Sly? Jak and Sly are some of the best PS2 games around in my opinion.

We are lacking quite a bit. There's a few good ones on XBLA though, and Banjo Kazooie nuts and bolts is sort of one.

As well as Bionic Commando and Bionic Commando: ReArmed.

There's not much, there are a few crappy kids ones (Space Chimps, Open Season etc).

Would you count the Lego games as platformers ?

Prince of Persia? All the bosses are beaten with action gameplay but the running around and being launched by his sidekick was fun.
Dunno if thats platforming but it had a lot of terrain to navigate :/

+1 to the Lego games...they feel more like those older platformers

I would. I've had fun playing them.

I also just found out about The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai today, which is funny because it gets released this week.

Would you consider Ninja Gaiden II or even Mirror's Edge as a plaformer?

Most of them are movie licensed kiddie games and XBLA titles. Pretty much just Banjo and Crash of the Titans as far as non-movie retail games. Prince of Persia and the Lego games sort of qualify. Ninja Gaiden II isn't a platformer--its a hack n slash action game. Mirror's Edge is probably more of a platformer than an FPS but Prince of Persia is a safer bet as the first person view makes ME harder to enjoy as a platformer.
Alien Hominid is a good one, I hear. I'm thinking about getting it on sale tomorrow on XBLA.
Uh Alien Hominid is pretty much sidescrolling action/shooting.

This is truly one of my disappointments for the new systems. I hated the new Ratchet & Clank game. In my opinion though Jak and Sly have been better from the beginning, which I know some will disagree with. I think it's the new GI that has platform games being a 1% favorite for new games based on respondents (Something to this extent). It's kind of frustrating as I can't recall a better time, Jak and Sly, on the older systems.

I can't imagine platformers getting much more time on the newer systems this late in the game.
