What store is FYE? What does it stand for?

FYE sounds like a great place to trade in games. Can someone tell me the full name of the store? Is there one in south Florida? Thanks.

FYE (For Your Entertainment) is part of the retail conglomerate Trans World Entertainment Corp. Other Trans World chains include(d):

Camelot Music
CD World
Coconuts
Media Logic

Really? I've been ignoring all FYE forums, but I have a Record Town nearby.

...maybe off topic, but "FYE" stores are in just about every mall in PA, most of which have replaced the extinct music chain called "The Wall"; but their CD and DVD prices suck BIG TIME...

Ok, I have a comment, there are actually 2 FYEs in my local mall. TWO IN THE SAME MALL! One at one end and the other at the opposite end. Now my mall isn't even that big, so it's like, WHAT THE?
FYE is probably the last place I'll look in my mall for games, I have a Gamestop and EB in it.

There used to be 2 FYE stores in a lot of my local malls, but they closed 1 store down in each mall. The great thing about going there for games is that no one buys games there so even after stores stopped taking pre-orders on the DS, I was still able to pre-order one there and get it on the launch date.

We've had 2 FYEs for maybe 4 years now, I think they're really going to keep them both in my mall. I haven't seen any others but those two... so beats me what kinda business they plan to do.
I do have like 3 EBs and 3 Gamestops all within 5 miles of my parent's house. So I doubt FYE will sell many games with that competition.

Man, if it wasn't for those crazy credit prices you get for games, I'd never step into the two FYE near me. Too bad one of them sucks so bad in terms of anime selection.

I didn't even know they took in games, I'll have to check my FYEs... even though I keep most of my games, due to some foolish selling back in the old days.
check out www.fye.com and look up the store locator to find one near you.
Well I'll be damned, before that I had no idea there was a FYE near me.
Might have to check it out.

My mall only has one FYE, but I think they are building another one. Meanwhile, it has THREE Electronics Boutiques... I have no idea why.

Don't sleep on this chain. I just picked up 2 copies of REZ (One used for $29 and one new for $42) and a sealed copy of 2002 Sprintcars for PS2 which goes on Ebay for just as much as REZ. Just go to the one that are not in a mall and you'll probably pick up a few interesting things. They had a bunch of other pretty hard to find games but I already own them so I passed.
