Does the PS2 use special screws? I did a quick search on how to take apart a PS2 and the closest thing to a special screwdriver the results mention were precision phillips head. Those can be found just about anywhere. Cheapest is probably the Dollar Tree if you have one nearby. It should come in a case with four to five other precision screwdrivers.
Im pretty sure the ps2 uses regular old phillips head screws. If you have a fatty ps2, you might need a long skinny one, cos a few of the screws are an inch or two down in the hole.
I mean to get to the laser. I tried opening up my friend's PS2 and to get to the laser you need a special tool. (fat) Something like a Jewelery screwdriver I heard I need? What is that?

It's just a regular screwdriver with a really small head. They usually come in sets that look like this.
Also you can usually find the same thing in eyeglass repair kits. Though those usually only come with one size. Those can be found just about anywhere (Walmart, Target, KMart, CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, etc, etc), often near the checkout or in the pharmacy area. Just thought that the screwdriver that comes in eyeglass repair kits may be a flat head, so you might not want that. Might still work though.
