I haven't seen a topic about this yet. Does anyone have any input as to which version of X-men Legends they are likely to get, and why?

I'm leaning GCN personally.

I'm leaning towards the GCN also because it seems better suited for the multi-player games. The small discs concern me, as will they be able to hold as much info as the XBOX's? The PS2's out of the running for me because, although I have the multi-tap, I don't want to go through the hassle of digging it and the controllers out.

What we need are reviews from people who've played it. PS2/GCN/XB?

None of the articles I've read mention that any version has any special features that others don't - is anyone aware of any?

Also is anyone aware of frame rate comparisons?

I ordered the xbox version cause that's what I usually get when a game is released on all three platforms. Haven't got it yet though so I can't say how it plays yet.

This topic needs a ressurection. Anybody have any info on this game?

My Gamerush STILL hasn't gotten this game in for the gamecube and I'm wondering if the PS2 is better. any thoughts?

Here's the Gamespot take on X-Men legends for the different consoles.

"The expected differences hold true here, as the Xbox version looks and sounds cleaner than the other two, though the GameCube is a very close second. The PlayStation 2 version also has longer load times than the other two versions. The game controls just as well on the Xbox, PlayStation 2, and GameCube, so it's roughly identical where it truly counts."
its not out yet is prob why? i mean i dont know anything about it, but if overstock is correct.. its still on preorder..
I got the PS2 version and my bros friend got it for GC. There is a slight difference in load times, GCs probably a couple seconds faster.

I prefer the PS2 version better because the controls work better than on Cube. Mostly because of the extra shoulder buttons and R3 to toggle between the different map displays quickly to work your way around. On Cube, the controls lacking a bit. The big thing that sucks is you'd have to pause to switch the maps displays and that can hinder the pace of your exploration. You wouldn't really miss the different unles you play the PS2 version before Cube. Don't know about XBox. But if you're meaning to play 4 players a lot and don't have a multitap, just get it for the other systems.

I was working at Activision while the game was being tested. The general consensus from the testers was to go with the XBOX version. It's got the faster load times, cleaner graphics, and it even supports 720p for all you HDTV owners out there. :D

Why can't I have an Xbox... :(

Just picked up my GC copy yesterday (they finally got them in) and my only complaint for the Gamecube is that there's no progeressive scan compatibility.

I guess since they've eliminated the digital output they're not going to make games 480p compatible anymore. :(
