Best Buy
PS2 $4.99 - True Crime LA, MX World Tour, Pinball

meijers had those ps2 games on sale for 4.99 few times this year.. if this is all best buy has that would suck big time

i hope this is a 2-3 day sale on this

Samsung DVD Recorder $99.99

i would be all over that if i can get it saturday or online
good deal on chaos theory. man the 51" hdtv by toshiba for 900 is a really good deal
I just saw that earlier tonight.:drool::drool: I've been putting off getting one untill after I get moved at the end of January but damn that looks tempting, it's on sale right now for $1423 online. Does Best Buy deliver if you buy a tv at the B&M? I know you can get it delivered from online but I dont think they do at the store.

If the SP's that where $48.88 where the bright screens, I think everyone who dive in on this, but still not a bad deal.

As much as some of those are slightly tempting, I don't think it's worth the maddening aggravation of dealing with the metric ton of people who will be out. :)

Thanks CheapyD!

On black friday i dont think stores will be too picky bout which screen you get. We grabbed a tv last year thinking it was the one on sale because of course it was unbranded in the ad. It rings up $100 dollars more and without arguement they changd the price cause it was so busy. Come to find out the tv we had in the cart was not the one on sale cuz we eventually found the price sticker in the cart, the box was sittin on it.

Is that Call of Duty 2 for both regular and collector's editions?

Paid 40 for my Collector's Edition, worth it for the DVD alone and not 18 CD's.... haven't opened it yet, I'd brave Best Buy for a $25 Collector's Edition.

Did you guys catch the HUGE misprint in K-Mart's Fri/Sat ad? Mixed with a bunch of mediocre $12.99 titles...I spotted a glimmer of hope:

PS2 Star Wars Battlefront II

Didn't it just come out last week? Sweet molasses!

Chances are that corporate will catch this if it's a mistake and make a quick motion to let all stores know that it should be Battlefront 1.

Good luck finding a K-Mart that actually has Battlefront II in stock though... my store along with some other local K's sold out last week during Episode 3 release, we only got in TWO copies for each system though.

Would it be possible for someone to scan this? Thanks.
Going to get WoW, maybe CT, and hopefully the $5 off coupons will work. :D
Sorry, but the BB PS2/PSP $5 off coupons only work for regularly priced games. I've tried this more than once and their system won't allow it.
Would it be possible for someone to scan this? Thanks.
Well, it looks like this in the ad:

ad.jpg

You can grab the zip file from BFads website.

That is definately a misprint... like I said earlier, either your K-Mart won't have BF 2 in stock, or they won't honor it because they are already aware of it (it should be Battlefront 1, probably, I don't know).

Best bet is to take that down to Circuit City and price match it, with the 110% you'll get Battlefront 2 for ps2 for roughly 8 bucks.

Eh...if those are going to be the deals at BB for games, then that is major, and I mean major, weak sauce. That's really nothing compared to year's past and I doubt that all of those who are hopeful to use the PS2 coupon on those games will be allowed to do so. They may do it since they'll be so busy and may not even care, but again I doubt it. The coupon is only supposed to work on non-sale items anyway. If I were to go there I'd use BB bucks, but I really, really don't even care that much on them.

So far the only things I"m looking for (which might be a good thing depending on how you look at it are the Kmart and Walmart listings. But it's still too early to tell.

I think I'll pick up one of everything at Kmart, except Recon unless it is for Xbox as well.

And at Walmart, I just want an SP since my DS (which is awesome might I add) can't play my large catalog of GB/GBC games. And where have you guys read/heard that Walmart will not allow to be sold the new ultra bright back lit model and how do you tell the difference?

yeah i would agree that kmart having star wars battlefront2 is probably a mistake, but when ghost recon2 first came out it was on sale for $20 alongside some other games that were normally around $30 and people got it, so who knows.

Notice the colors mentioned in the OP:

Walmart
GBA SP $48.88 (Cobalt, Platinum, Flame, and Onyx)

Those are all the old side-lit. The only SP styles that have the new backlighting at this time are Graphite, Pearl Blue, and Spongebob (TRU Exclusive).

But ultimately, the way to tell is on the front of the box it says "now brighter screen!" or something to that effect.

i noticed that as well. i'm pretty sure this is walmart's way of trying to clear out the old sps.

I know where I'm sending my wife on Black Friday (since I'll most likely have to work). I'm fairly certain our "local" Kmart will have plenty of SW:BF2 in stock. It will be mine for $12.99, I can guarantee it :)

That is of course if corporate ignores it and it leaks through. If thats the case, then Walmart is going to be price matching it for me. Can always use it for trade fodder at Game Rush.

Some sales from TRU. Got it off bfads.net.
Nintendo Gamecube Bundle Pack (System & Ultimate Spiderman) $119.97
Playstation 2 Ultimate Gamers Gift Box $39.99
(2) Gameboy Advance Games (Namco Museum, Strawberry Shortcake, Pac-Man, Cartoon Network Speedway) $15.00

That can't be everythign for Best Buy. Otherwise this year sucks. There aren't even any DVD's listed.

The 51" TV and the projector might be nice buys.

Also, under the Kmart Thanksgiving list there's

GameBoy Advance Games - Crash Bandicoot N-Tranced, Ms Pac Man - $8
GameBoy Advance Games - Dora Super Star Adventures, Chicken Shoot - $8
Gameboy Advance SP w/ Metroid Zero Mission and Spyro Orange - $80

I wonder if that GBASP is the brighter screen. Probably not but if it is then that's a great deal.

BF TRU Doorbuster:

GBA Shrek 2 + GBA Video Shrek 2 Movie Free with Pearl Blue or Graphite GBA SP's (doesn't have Spongebob GBA SP listed in ad)

BF Fri/Sat TRU Sale:

GC Platinum System + 4MB Intec Memory Card + GC Ultimate Spiderman for $119.97

Sonic Game 2-packs for PS2, XB, or GC for $15 (should be on any of the bundles, but ad shows misprint of 4 different Sonic games bundled with another of the same game)

All GBA Videos are Buy 1 Get 1 Free

GBA Namco Museum, GBA Strawberry Shortcake, GBA Pacman Collection, GBA Cartoon Network Speedway, GBA F-18 Hornet, GBA Frogger's Adventure, GBA Monster Trucks, GBA Battlebots, GBA Konami Arcade Advanced are all 2 For $15

PS2 Ultimate Gamers Gift Box (includes Soul Calibur 2, Spider Man, Strike Force Bowling, Pinball Hall of Fame, Mark Davis Pro Bass Challenge, & World Championship Poker) for $39.99 (save $10)

PS2/XB Medal of Honor Frontline, GC/XB 007 Nightfire, PS2 LOTR The Two Towers, PS2/GC/XB 007 Agent Under Fire, PS2/GC The Sims, PS2 Freekstyle, GC Def Jam Vendetta, & XB LOTR (not sure which one offhand...not pictured and ad doesn't specify but skn is 692560...probably Two Towers) are all 2 for $20

Free Intec Racing Wheel ($39.99) With Purchase of: PS2/XB NFS Most Wanted, PS2 GT4, PS2/XB Burnout Revenge, XB Nascar 06 TTC

Enjoy.

I was at Wal-Mart yesterday, they didn't have ANY SP's that didn't say "New brighter screen". I just don't see them getting pallets of the old SP that they don't make anymore. Or, I could be wrong!

IIRC, Sears is lowering some of their game's prices by $5. Seeing as how most of the time, they are overpriced anyway, that doesn't help much.
Well, it looks like this in the ad:

Neat. Thanks for posting.

When the Ace Combat 5 sale happened I actually picked it up AT Sears. I tried to pick up more copies by PMing. Circuit City already knew about it, one Wal Mart did it, but they weren't too happy about it, and another Wal Mart outright refused to PM.

My Walmart has the bright screen GBAs I saw the box the last time I was there playing Xbox 360. Next time I go i'll double check to confirm this but I'm about 90% sure I saw the box there.
I haven't seen a non-bright screen GBA in Wal-Mart for a month
That's because they're sitting on a pallet in the back of the store waiting for the ad.
That's because they're sitting on a pallet in the back of the store waiting for the ad.
After giving it serious thought, I would rather buy one for $80 than stand in line for three hours at 2 in the morning to get it for $50. My time is worth more than $10 an hour, especially at that gawd awful hour.
