Very interesting read. If only Nintendo opened the employee store to the public, they would make millions and bathe all of Japan and half of America in Nintendo related clothing.

I remember Planet GameCube posted photos from that employee store and it looked incredible.

This party was posh. I guess a lot of parties that companies throw for press/celebrities are like that, but I'd never been to one, so I was floored by the yummy desserts and great service. They had an ice sculpture in the shape of the Nintendo racetrack logo, and it dispensed blue martinis. Suffice to say, I and a fellow engineer got loaded, along with many other folks in attendance, and we sat back down at our table to discuss video games and E3 sightings.

the Wii, I want one of those.

yeea...i was there for the Nintendo E3 partyas well...and the martini-dispensing ice sculpture was really cool. one side blue martinis and the other red...i believe. it was great to see so many japanese business men in suits getting wasted and gettin' down to black eyed peas.
