Is Monaco discounted anywhere - I don't think $15 is worth it; has it ever been cheaper? I know Defender's Quest was 66% off back Dec. 16; should have bought it then.

Is Planetary annihilation out today? Looks fun, might pick it up. Thoughts?

Also might pick up Gnomeria. Terraria is one of my most favorite games. Missed it on Indie Game Stand. Anybody play it?

I want Defender's Quest, just always has been priced a bit too high for me.

You should've all bought Defender's Quest: Valley of the Forgotten by now anyways. Because I've been telling you all how excellent it is.

What do you mean some of you still don't have it?

Incoming price crash on They Bleed Pixels cards. Also I'm pretty sure it was in an Indie Royale.
They Bleed Pixels has never been bundled.
Lies and Slander.

Tried the demo -- was decidedly 'meh.'

Man, I own over 200 Steam games but somehow don't own any of the games they've added to the card program since initial batch

It's been hard not to buy games just for ridiculous cards heh

I got a bluebird on my shoulder, y'all, and she concurs. I think that means I'm getting laid tonight.
Are you a bluebird egg?
It's called the reach-around technique, I believe~

They Bleed Pixels still seems like a decently profitable venture. I'll take a shot and let y'all know how it goes.
The cards are listed at good prices, but there's no history so who knows what people will pay. Thanks for taking the risk, I'm eager to see if it's worth doing.
It's been less than an hour. Prices will probably fall especially when more people find out about the Amazon deal. Seems like a break-even proposition at best.

Sweet I own ARES and Trine 2, will pick up They Bleed from the ZON now - even if I just break even I'll take it for a free game.

Fox I'm in for HH as you know.

Thank you, I snagged Starvoid. I'm astonished it activated considering how late to the party I am. :D
Weird I tried Starvoid early in the day with no luck lol. I must be a little Hodor today. Oh well glad that a real person got it.
I laughed way too hard at this.
y u no like my post! gah!

Defenders quest cards are pretty rare right now and are going for over $1 each, if someone buys them. I'd get those knocked out before Trine 2, as those are already in the $.60 range.

Lowest listed value of a Defenders card is $1.50.

I'd like to call out jshackles on his unsportsmanlike propensity to lowball prices. Seriously? $0.78 for Ares from A.R.E.S. Extinction Agenda which just got cards not even an hour ago? Shame on you, sir. This card will be completely worthless before long. The game itself won't be worth playing for cards with this sort of shoddy marketing.

And now everyone is going lower than you because yours sold. Great, just great.

You'd hate me then. Sold one for $0.50.

You can run multiple games at the same time and get cards from all of them.
This I did not know.

New Humble Weekly is up.  It's meh.  Anomaly 1 (only Steam game).

Anomaly on mobile is nice, but I got it from the Android bundle.  I got Anomaly 1 somewhere, probably the same bundle.  Anyways, pretty disappointing considering previous weekly sales.  I might have bought with A2 being the BTA, but this is a super big pass for me.

Yeah I think you're probably right. The honeymoon is definitely over and the only cards that will have any value will be games that haven't been bundled or on sale any time recently.

I'll pick up the Pixel Amazon deal. Even if I break even, $3.39 is worth more in my steam wallet for the summer sale then in my back acct.

It's still a good deal if you like the game.  Free game!  Unfortunately I have no interest in it and while the gambling chance at foils is interesting it's not worth trading actual money for GabeN bucks at this point as I already have $40 on Steam (I tend to stay under the $50 range for most of the major sales... at least from Steam as other retailers have been beating them price-wise).

The steams pyschologists is working on me. I want kerbel, not at that price, but back of my mind says "but u got dis steamz wallet for free so gamz is free?"

Must fight incorrect logic.

Go ahead and buy it, hopefully that will help it get bundled later. I'm pretty interested in Kerbel but I'm not dropping more than 5 bones on it.

Planetary Annihilation only 90$. What a bargain.
This is to get into the Alpha. When beta launches it will be lowered to $60. Then when the game launches, you'll be able to get it at the normal price.

I'm assuming this is because Steam probably doesn't support multiple release restrictions on games.

As to why this is as high as it is? Because of the kickstarter, these prices were the levels at which one gained access to these things.

lol at the board games on Steam (Battleship, Life, Scrabble) and they don't even have online multiplayer. I would buy these games for a dollar each just to have them.

Nothing for me this week, but I'm extremely broke anyways but hopefully I will have money for my first summer sale.

Ugh.  It's just such a horrible overrated game.   Another uninspired platformer.

And that's if you put aside Phil Fish.

Of course there's lots of games I think are overrated.  I hated Hotline Miami.

Overrated, maybe, but I still found it to be an enjoyable experience. You're also the first person I know that said they didn't like Hotline Miami.

Fez is extremely generic, repetitive and boring with very little challenge or reward. Then there's all the atrocious backtracking. It's the gaming equivalent of a French movie about a toaster shot from various panoramic lenses in sepiatone where the collected poems of P.G. Wodehouse pops out at the beginning, but all subsequent pops are of tapioca bread. I don't know how else to describe the letdown.

You guys have no concept of marketing strategy.

"Marketing strategy" is irrelevant. There is no way to influence the supply side of the equation, and no way to hoodwink potential customers into believing that a $2 card is better than a $0.20 card.

The card market is pure economics: price moves in relation to the supply and the demand. Prices won't go up until Valve does something to make badges more valuable.

I couldn't get into it. My reflexes are too slow...

Do we really need to go through all this again?

Maybe I just didn't get Hotline Miami (and admittedly I was TERRIBLE at it).  I absolutely acknowledge I'm in the minority on HLM.    But Blade absolutely NAILED Fez.

Edit: no we don't I think we already had the Fez debate on page 4 of this thread.
