Me too. Only will hold until Friday (even though it says hold for 8 days prior to placing the order. Great deal on MLB 13 for Vita. Awesome game!

Well I placed my order last night, and my local BB says they'll hold it until Friday....so maybe the holding period is different for different stores, even though online it said 8 days.

The one day I don't check the threat and a deal that I want is gone. I couldn't use a reward certificate on a sold out item, but at least Amazon price-matched for one. And in a way, I'm kind of glad I didn't give them my business since my account was down after the Metro Last Light fiasco and had to send multiple emails, call, and chat to get it fixed days later.

Glad I caught the Amazon price match too....looks like I'll just let my Best Buy pick-up orders sit idle until they refund :)

Amazon finally matched the controller...just got one for $25!
Wow - so glad I checked this thread one more time. I'll just let my Best Buy in-store pickup order cancel out. Glad I didn't use my last RZ cert on it.

I thought for sure when they hadn't matched it by 8pm Pacific that it wasn't going to happen.

I wonder how long Amazon will keep the price of the Wii U Pro Controller at $24.99....surely not too much longer right?

Not sure which part of the deal it was you were looking for but as of this moment MLB 13 is still matched on Amazon for $19.99 (the rest is dead). Debating whether to order it from Amazon and to return my BBY copy next time I'm over that way to save the $1.20 in tax and have some BBY credit available or just not mess with it. Stupid 14 day return policy mucking up these decisions.

the Wii U Pro Controller.

They would'nt exchange the white for the black as the white is 25$ in store too (ymmv) I took the white to Walmart and exchanged it. Unfortunately, they are selling the white for 37.50... I had to pay the difference to get the black one. I should have planned that better...

Another day, another post of return fraud.

I heard NG3 wasn't that great when first released for other systems, but this version supposedly fixed a lot of the issues players had with it.  Tempting indeed.

I mainly bought a Wii U for this game back when, it's awesome. Sold that copy and got the PS3 version for trophies.

I highly recommend this game.

And I highly recommend the Wii U start bringing stuff out already. I'm at the point of selling it since I haven't turned in on in 2 months.

I almost bought the Wii U just for this game but decided to wait for it to be ported to other systems because I knew it was just a timed exclusive. Same goes with Bayonetta 2 but no one believes me right now, just like no one believed NG3 RE is only a timed exclusive.

Good thing I was able to hold myself back on buying the Wii U and waited out the few months for NG3 RE to come to other system. If the game was created by Itagaki, I wouldn't have been able to wait. Since it's from Hayashi...

Bayonetta 2 wouldn't even exist without Nintendo; the two are not comparable.

True, but who owns the rights to Bayonetta 2? Definitely not Nintendo. It will come to other systems after the 6 month or 1 year timed exclusive. Remember Ninja Gaiden 2 was a Microsoft published game and for 360 only. Then with the altering of the name, it came to PS3 a year later as Sigma 2. For Bayonetta 2, once Nintendo gets its involvement money, they will let Platinum Games do what they want to with the franchise. After all, Platinum still owns the right, not Nintendo unless Nintendo buys Platinum out.

Bayonetta 2 is funded and published by Nintendo. The rights to the game is definitely by Nintendo.

It will not be coming to other systems and it will not be a timed exclusive. It's nothing like getting exclusive DLC, timed exclusivity, or anything like that. If you believe so, you are setting yourself up to disappointment.

Let's talk in 2015 assuming this game will be released by early 2014. ;)

You might have missed it but the lead guy at platinum games already said on twitter that the only way it will go to another system is if Nintendo says it can. He even went as far as to say people asking for bayonetta 2 on another system might as well ask for Zelda while they are at it lol

RE is better than NG3 in everyway. its still not a great game though. it's decent i bought it at launch beat it & traded it in. honestly the only reason i bought it was because i believed the fanboys who claimed it was never going to come on another system because nintendo published it. a couple months later what happened. lol!

btw the game has touch screen weapon, ninpo swaps, but it still pauses the game in order to swap... lame.

I didn't see this tweet but Platinum can (if they want to) release Bayonetta 2 to other systems as Bayonetta Sigma 2 Razor's Edge. Alter the name and alter the game contents a bit like Ninja Gaiden 2 to Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2. Technically, it's not the same game so Nintendo couldn't have any say. Yes, there's no sure way that they'll do it but I guess if enough fans scream at them, they might.

The guy was pretty clear its not going to another system. He made this tweet because he got tired of people asking and basically said no and shut up.

The game is still under development and funded by Nintendo, of course he's saying that to drive people who really want this game to buy the Wii U. It's a perfect business tactic and the whole reason why Nintendo is funding the project. Once the game is out on the market for 6 months to a year and Nintendo isn't selling as many copies as it used to, things could be different. Unlike Zelda, Metroid, Mario...Bayonetta, afterall, is not owned by Nintendo so there is a chance for it to be ported to other systems after some alteration to the name and contents.

Yeah honestly. I have no idea why people are living in these false dreams of exclusive games coming out for other systems.

While we're having fun playing Bayonetta 2 on Wii U, you can wait forever for it to come out on Xbox 360.

i wouldn't be suprised to see beyo2 go multiplat. i honestly wouldn't care ill just pick it up on wii u after a heavy price cut.

You don't understand it literally can't happen because Nintendo is funding the game. They'd have to be paid for it if it was on other platforms, at least a bit.

It is a first party game essentially. They're funding it, unlike NG3:RE where they simply published it. Huge difference. It will and never happen unless Nintendo went third party. Same for Wonderful 101 and any other project they personally fund.

Yeah Nintendo would have to get paid, but that's something that could still happen.

I really don't think anyone here is "waiting" for Bayonetta 2 to go multiplat (if someone said they are, then I missed it). It's more about just biding our time to see if it happens. If it does, then cool for us. If it doesn't, well then at least by that time the WiiU should be closer to our price range. But to say that it 100% won't happen is foolish at this point. Anything can happen, even if the chances are very slim.

I'm pretty sure if the nintendo game is in that game, altered or not, nintendo could sue them and would most likely win.
