Have they made it so you can't idle for cards anymore? Launched Brutal Legend and went about doing other stuff on my PC and after 2 hours not a single card drop.

hope the new Eastern European DLC includes all the seedy sides of Eastern Europe.

You deliver truck of hookers in exchange for vodka.

Hostel DLC

Ugh.. I'd buy it for Rush Bros if there were other games in it that I want.. but the only other not-previously-bundled game in it is Glow Fish..
Glowfish is a pretty fun game. It's a MumboJumbo title, I believe, so ir's professionally polished.

You can probably glean enough info about the play mechanics from watching the videos. If you like this kind of game, it's definitely worth a play.

I was going to wait to buy Rogue Legacy. Then I started up Torchlight 2 and died 5 times in a row to same level mobs. Close Torchlight 2, buy Rogue Legacy.

Cardz for Paranormal and Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition.

inb4 "why is Blade always on Steam playing a game, 150+ hours in two weeks, get a life"

Euro Truck Sim 2 has DLC.... NOOOOOOOOO!

Hope this doesn't turn into a Train Sim situation. I hope the new Eastern European DLC includes all the seedy sides of Eastern Europe.

I am actually looking forward to 18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker 2, the American counterpart to Euro Truck Sim 2.

What the... I saw that Hamilton's Great Adventure got cards, so I downloaded the game. It won't start, I choose play and it says installing directx and all that shit, then nothing happens. Tried launching it from steamapps folder, no response. It's only 4 cards worth .20 each, no loss but it's annoying.

Do you have a controller plugged in? Thats the problem I generally run into.

Hmmm. OK. I'll install it and see what happens.

Macs are for spreadsheets.
And they are also for lazy asses who want to play games in bed and doesn't want to wander over to their actual gaming PC.

Interesting factoid, ps3 controllers are instantly and completely mac compatible for steam controller games, but the gold standard wired xbox controller doesn't do jack without third party drivers.

Well the one thing that I think could be an issue is I read about someone who couldn't get it to start because it wasn't compatible with the latest version of PhysX, and I currently don't have PhysX installed so that could be it.

Yeah, I do have a controller plugged in, but just tried unplugging it and nothing changed.

Is it possible to activate a game on steam without downloading it?
Yes. Enter the code, and then at the final confirmation screen where it is telling you the size of the game data and all that just cancel out. Game should be added to your library w/o being DLed.

Edit:

Hate for Neuro5i5 only grows...

Sorry, can't replicate. No issues on my end, and I do have a controller plugged in.

I left Bleed running earlier and got my last two cards, so I'd say no.

Didn't realize it was fixed. My bad.

New Bundle Stars bundle as well:

$3.50 gets you:

Rush Bros

Velvet Assassin

Lunar Flight

Glow Fish

The Tiny Bang Story

Mystery Title

I want everything but Lunar Flight so I'll definitely pick this up...sometime, since it apparently has three weeks to go. Question: is it going to stay at $3.48, or will the price go up in a few days? I think I remember another bundle stars being like that, but I could be mistaking them for someone else...

Activision page says check back daily for new deals, maybe they'll up some game as high as 26% off!
Prototype 1&2 are both -66%, so I expect at least a few of these will get bigger discounts.

I heard that prototype 2 is an absolutely horrific pc port bugs and glitches galore. So be aware of that if anyone is interested in that game

too late, already have it. I bought it when Amazon had Prototype 1 & 2 Steam keys for $7.49

I didn't have many problems w/ Prototype 2 PC, TBH.

My biggest problem - framerate was anywhere from over 30-60 frames w/ VSYNC On. While it's good to be over 30 frames - problem was that it was ALL over the place w/out any sort of consistency - one second, 35 frames; few seconds later, 60 frames.

I wish I could've locked the frames down to say 40 FPS max or something - might've been much smoother.

EDIT:

My PC = i7 950; 1 GB of GF GTX 560 Ti; 8 GB RAM; Win 7 64-bit.

Am I just dumb or is there really no way to see what games in my library support controllers without manually checking each store page and putting them into a category?

If you use big picture mode games that support controllers will show either a half fill controller (partial support) or a full controller (full support, obviously). It isn't always 100% accurate, but by and large it's the easiest way I've found. You can also limit your library view to only games with full support, though some games that I know are supported don't show up for whatever reason so it's best to check anyway.

well thats a bummer. Big picture is a data hog on mac and takes 5 minutes to boot up so thats pretty much out of the question. Manual sorting it is.

Have fun figuring out how all the traits manifest themselves in game

I thought I was too old to find flatulence in a game funny. Fortunately, apparently I'm not! Just saying.....

After the recent talk about how easy it was I feel like I must be the worst gamer ever.

Preedatore, property of level 16 mobs since 2013.
Depends on the difficulty. If you're playing on Elite I can see it as most stuff will two shot you early and then simply one shot you later on depending on your health. Veteran and below... well... you're doing something wrong.

same here, and I haven't even touched it yet. I don't even know why I bought it cuz I hated prototype 1. Such a disappointing, deceptively marketed piece of trash. I don't really have the right to bash on it so much cuz I bootlegged it when it came out. I can't imagine having paid 50$+ for it on release.

Speaking of buying games and not playing them: I'm glad System Shock is a bta game on the new humble bundle. I wouldve been pretty mad if it was in the $1 tier, since I bought it the last time it was on sale.

Also, im selling Rogue Legacy for $7 ;)

I almost had the same feeling on System Shock until realizing that the next tier was $6.

Nice!

Though, I been doing PC gaming since 1995 - back before buying from digital services was a thing. :D
i would have a bigger collection from my younger years if i wasnt such an asshole and didnt bootleg every game I played.

the only games I felt I needed to support were Warcraft 3 and its expansion. And I also bought the retail box for Left 4 Dead 1, which was my first steam game.

I was mainly a console guy (ps1, ps2, psp), which I also eventually started to bootleg games for.
