you guys should give the newbies a chance at these groups. How else are they going to be part of the community?  Have them pay for the entire value of the game (a deposit) until everyone has downloaded and tested the game, then refund the rest (especially if they are getting a phantom share what harm could they actually do).

I did this with Ambusherx and he had no problems giving me a $60 deposit for a $10 share. If they have a problem with that then chances are they were going to try to scam.

It's up to the host to do whatever he wants. If he wants to require members to have only one testicle that's his prerogative.

Personally, I have tried this approach and every newb has had an incredulous reply or no reply at all. I host enough shares here that, I believe, I have earned the right to decide who joins my group. I want long standing solid members in my groups. I usually purchase two resell slots. Therefore, I typically have more invested in my shares. I put a disclaimer on my offerings. If you have to ask yourself if you qualify, you probably don't. I am sick and tired of other members suggesting how I should run my groups and who I should allow in. Consequently, I have begun to host shares on other sites. I don't host to make a profit. I host to provide an efficient and secure experience. If people want to join a group with a newbie or allow newbies into their group, that is their prerogative. I could not care less. I'm sure Boosted would be glad to have anyone contribute to his coffers. I meant groups not coffers.

that's all good , to each their own and your right the host does make the group rules... you win :applause: . I fail to see what Boosted has to do with this, but oh well. Just remember we were all new here once. Too bad the new members don't get the same chances the old ones had. We have enough members already anyway right, why not lock it down, make it private and not even let new members into the thread right.

Maybe this will enlighten you. The guy had only been a member for a few weeks. Furthermore, he did not have any group feedback in Yanks sheet at that time. Again, it is nothing personal against Gamerdad08. I was away on vacation traipsing through South East Asia at the time he joined and began to participate in the thread.

Also, I am totally for exclusivity.

So um...on a drama free note, I just popped 4 trophies at once in Peace Walker, so that was pretty cool. To be honest though, I set it up that way.

Finished the last Extra Ops mission with S Rank and got the trophies for A and S ranking all Extra Ops, the trophy for A and S ranking ALL Ops (I did the Main Ops S rank yesterday) and then a costume that gave me my last costume for the Costume Collector. Now just one more trophy before I finish it off! Just have to grind some online missions with a few people to get 20,000 camaraderie.

If anyone is curious, I've put 106 hours into the game. It's not a hard platinum, just really time consuming. I'm sure anyone who is on my friends list has undoubtedly seen me playing non stop for the last two weeks. I love the game though, and I think it's actually pretty fun to play online. Once you get really deep into it and get awesome weapons and start to learn the tactics, nothing can stand in your way. It's a good feeling to go back and get an S rank in 7 minutes when you got a C rank in 30 minutes the first time around.

I'm glad you're having a blast with it, was gonna timeshare it but wanna get into GTA asap. Nearly at the end of my tomb raider campaign and not looking forward to the online from what I've heard about it.

As always Boosted you pop off without knowing the facts. I am always willing to help the unlettered. Here are a few facts to help you make better choices.

1. The phantoms were from accounts that had been reset, and the slot had manually been deactivated by the slot holder.

2. They were sold for the Gaming Membership Club I belong to or for another member that does not have a Paypal account.

3. The accounts could not be compromised.

4. The passwords were temporarily changed and then reestablished after the transaction was complete.

4. You have used the wrong idiom.

I know there is a lot of attention on you. Thus, I understand why you want to detract from all of the negative criticism you are receiving. I wish you the best of luck during these tough times. I'm sure your business will be thriving in no time.

I assume that since you have used the number 4 twice it was just you trying to be clever with your calling me out. :D

Do you think that a temporarily changed password is enough to keep an account from being stolen. If you send the info to a person and they decide to change the email and password how are you going to get the account back?

I am not worried about surviving through tough times. Thanks for your support though, I might need a long standing member like you to help vouch for me.

To all the new members/hosts out there I will try to make the directions for you to be able to host your own groups tonight. If you would like to learn to host either PM Kerouac or myself. We are always willing "to help the unlettered."

 
Well hopefully a nice discussion of Tales of Xillia 2 will calm everyone down (or maybe not). The new english trailer came out, and I'm pretty excited for it. Anyone else glad they're bringing it to the west?

Hey, I would like to know if you don't mind. I don't plan on hosting anytime soon at all though, but so that I could understand a bit better how things work here. I've been here maybe a month or two but didn't want to keep bugging members here by PM'ing too much.

Regarding contradicting myself I believe that I said it is usually frowned upon to from people who don't have gamesharing feedback. I still stand by my statement towards lian.

Lastly, I didn't stir the pot with Kerouac, he decided to throw me into this with the coffer comment and the quoting something that was said a month ago about me sticking up for a new member.

How long does it take GTA V to actually start up with the three main characters? So far, all I've been doing was towing missions for 3 hours now. I'm enjoying the atmosphere but the driving feels really loose compared to other open-world sandboxes.

Not sure if I'm reading it correctly but you have to do the main missions to progress through the story. Look for letters and use the correct character to start them (Michael - Blue, Franklin - Green, Trevor - ?).

I think I had around 7 or 8 hours in it before all 3 characters were available to play as. Once you start playing as Trevir it is only a few more missions before you can switch between all 3.

The entire cast returns from Xillia 1. The girl is the damsel in distress - not a playable character. Another new character is the main character's best friend, who is a key part to the story. Other features include the main character being able to use any weapon (and switch weapons during battle), the main character has a Super Saiyan mode, the main character is in debt throughout the entire game, and you can make decisions that effect the story similar to the Persona games. Other than that, everything else is the same.
