BB dropped the prices to a lot of older pre-owned games to $4.99+ and actually have a lot in stock as of right now.

8 of my 9 games are ready for store pick up, so it's time to go to sleep(in a couple hours ha :) ). Btw I used a gift card for everything so I don't know why it wouldn't work for some people.

nobody's going to the store to buy these games, most people are getting them shipped or instore pickup.They are trying to clear pre-owned inventory in their warehouses is what I meant. The stores are screwed, nobody is buying those games unless they change the stickers but anybody waiting on a b2g1 for these is a fool(get them now while they are there). Anything that is worth something is either going to be sold out for shipping or sold out for store pickup. There are some really great deals in here.

I saw it around 4-5 am not available for shipping. I would think that it might have been for a few minutes at the least? Because I remember seeing LOTR: Battle for Middle Earth II two days ago available for shipping and that's another rare game that flips well. Passed on it because I had a problem using my mom's account that had Elite on it and didn't get fixed until just now, and of course it's OOS for shipping as well now.

Damn we might have all been late to the party then because it was 100% available for shipping on Friday. Maybe all the drops happened then but not everyone noticed until earlier this morning.

My take based on what keeps happening to me. If you add a game that you want shipped and the 10% doesn't apply, it means that it really isn't available for shipping. As mentioned, I'd have 6 orders cancelled. I tried to do each individually thereafter and the 10% doesn't apply.

It showed the 10% discount on one screen when ordering but went back to full price when checking out. Never had a problem with this before ordering used online. None of my orders cancelled yet, knock on wood.

I saw what you mentioned but ignored it because, like others have said, that wasn't the issue last night. My first two orders (paid 100% with gift cards) both went through and didn't get immediate cancellations. I probably could have called the order in but it wasn't worth it at 2:30am in the morning. Best Buy's site should have been able to handle it.

 
Nobody trades games into BB in STL; every single one of the games I would be interested in shows as no shipping and not in stock in the STL metro area.

That's what happened to me as well. I finally got the 10% off to apply then my orders were cancelled.

 
Was anyone able to get an order through at any time after 4am EST? I'm still getting errors that prevent me from even completing an order (so I doubt that means I'm banned or anything like that), and I wonder if it's just me...

It doesn't matter if people trade in games at your local BB. Wasn't it said that any games traded-in are sent to a warehouse then re-distributed throughout the country? The only problem is that the distribution is very bad.

I don't think so, since my first two orders at around 3am didn't have 10% taken off, and they haven't been canceled. At least, not yet.

It's also been an ongoing problem, especially with used games, where they say it's in stock at all sorts of stores that don't have it.

Yes, I've successfully submitted several but all of them after my first two have been cancelled. Tried various permutations of games hoping it was just something OOS but no luck.

What's weird is that the games I had for in-store pickup aren't available at most other stores in the area except the one I chose, so it's not like that frequent error I've seen where every store listed falsely had in-store pickup available.

Maybe I'll stop by that store if I get the chance to see if it really does have the games in stock, but I dunno...

 
So I decided to place individual orders for each game I wanted to pick up and 12 of 14 were cancelled. Too late to the party it would seem.

EDIT: And they all said available for shipping.

somebody got the last mario u instore so i used my @gamer coupon and ordered skyward sword to be shipped to my home. it will come before the 20th so thats all that matters :)
 
i can wait longer for another price drop for some of the games.

Thanks coop. Placed an order with standard shipping to be safe but I'll use expedited shipping again going forward.

I thought the gift card issue was fixed awhile ago? Based on tylerh's posts, seems like it hasn't. Either that or he was banned from Best Buy.

People should avoid making duplicate orders, the Best Buy forums have shown people getting banned for getting flagged as dealers. Luckily, I noticed this before I got caught up in that mess.

 
Any good credit movers besides Nascar to gamestop? I have $18 in gift cards for best buy that I'd like to use up so I don't have to drive the 40 mins to best buy. Also I am looking myself, I just wouldn't mind help.
