One can dream. But yeah I'm pretty sure it'll be deals like 2x points and junk
 
There may be something good. Best buy sales are the only ones with potential surprises, not like amazon where everything is $7 off msrp.
 
The single best aspect of their Elite or Silver or whatever status they call it is getting early online access to their Black Friday deals. I mean, it inevitably crushes their web site, but I've gotten awesome deals without ever having to go to the store.

Yes, this, and the occasional expedited shipping for $5 games. So you will use the service 2-3 times tops in a given year, generally.

I remember reading something abouth them not including and those are only instore.

I'm ready to be disappointed. Probably just double/triple points on everything and "special offers" on things I am not looking to purchase.

 
With sooo many people sharing their elite plus benefits this year (here and on SD) the competition is gonna be ridiculou!.  Good luck getting in on any of the super good deals and expect their servers to crash for sure.

Everything they've said so far suggests that Elite Plus will get even earlier access than mine run Elite, so the gifted status shouldn't make much difference. They do crash every year during the early access period. I hope they've got some cloud scaling this year.

1. SDers frequently boast about things CAGs (hopefully) never do, like returning things bought at sale prices from some stores to Walmart without a receipt to get more cash back (return fraud).

2. Believe it or not, SD occasionally beats CAG to the punch in posting gaming-related deals, so it helps to visit every now and then in case some deal slipped through the proverbial cracks.

Even before the current tiers, I never came close to hitting the requirement for premiere silver. They just sort of gave it to me, and have renewed it for the several years since, with me shopping there less and less.

 
I'm Elite Plus. No idea how, but won't argue. I used to spend a LOT in there but my spending has slowed thanks to bills.

On your side of the argument you could buy about 17 of those ps3 displays when they had them for what 200 or less?

I look forward to seeing what's in store (pun not intended) I don't know how I got Elite Plus but I do till Jan2015 but my little yellow bar shows I need to spend 389$ more? Also the most expensive item I ever bought from bestbuy was a 200$ projector the rest I gues was all trade ins.

 
One of the perks of Elite Plus is the pyramid sch... Feature they implemented where you can gift a membership to three friends or family. If the sales end up not being crap, I can offer my last slot up on the 24th.

Anytime the SD vs CAG thing comes up, I always go back and read this thread for a good laugh. For those who weren't around:
When I worked at TRU, I always had the new ads weeks ahead. I scanned and posted them here with a note asking to not post them outside of CAG without at least asking first. Douche decided to not only post it on SD, but also hotlinked to my server. Ad scan was changed to tranny porn. Hilarity ensued. Too bad the originating thread has been long deleted, because that was a riot.

The only reason I hit silver last year was because of trades. I'd never spend that much at BB.

 
Does anyone have a link to the actual sale?  I'm a Elite Plus member but I can't find any information about this event aside from the picture the OP posted.

 
Just spent roughly $6,000 on a new washer, dryer and refrigerator back in August. Would be nice if this actually panned out to be something worthwhile. Judging from people's responses in here tho, I guess I shouldn't get my hopes up. Haven't been an Elite Plus member for a few years now so I am not familiar with these promotions at all. Oh well, wasn't even expecting it so no loss really if its garbage. 

 
other than the obvious reasons people are premiere silver yada yada listed above like washer and dryer etc.. Also easy to get if you share the benefits. IE. my two sisters and their families, my parents, myself, and a couple friends all use my account. mainly because they can't be bothered to sign up for a card lol. So just offer free shipping and longer returns to people =P
