Xbox One Console Thread (Console is currently in stock as of 12/3 at Amazon)

Big win for MS, Titanfall will be the next cod. Sure you can play on PC or 360, but the x1 will be the definitive version. Sony is in trouble because they don't have an answer to this game.

Xbox One is 720p, PC will be the definitive version. And there are plenty of shooters on the PS4, would hardly call Sony in trouble over this deal.

Yeah it was known very long ago the PS4 has the better hardware. When you have Xbox top devs says that, Does the pic surprise anyone?

Even as someone who wants PS4 more, the GAME I want more is Forza 5.

Rather play BF4 on my PC. Like Killzone but it's multiplayer has historically been fairly mild. I'm in a serious Love/Hate relationship with Indie games. Bastion was great. I don't even want to demo Fez I watched the docu on it and had even less interest.

I'm thinking I'll pass on both, and just work on backlog. I have a large backlog. And 1 hour a day to play on weekdays. I could easily make it to the first price drop

Has anyone ever preordered a launch system off Amazon and had a problem getting it on launch day? I preordered my xbox one off of amazon and I have a day one edition I'm just worried it won't be here on the 22nd. :/

Maybe "trouble" was the wrong word to say, but they don't have a game that can match titanfall right now. Killzone and BF can't compare. It Will be interesting to see if MS will buyout any other third party games, they certainly have the money to do so if they choose to. If that starts to happen, then yes, Sony is in trouble.

You do realize just because COD is in 720p doesn't mean that the rest of the games are? Xbox One is perfectly capable of running 1080p

You have a real hard on for graphics don't you?

Seriously, I could game on a PC but the experience there is no where near the same as on a console - at least for me. There is so much more to gaming than just the graphics.
 
Gotta remember its also a risk for Microsoft. They threw a lot of money at a new IP that while its pretty hyped, might not make them enough to really warrant the money they spent.

it's a fps game even if it's mp it will sell like hot cakes and it helps that it's made by the people that made cods till after mw2 which my the way alot of people see mw1 and mw2 th best mp fps games ever.

If the lines to play Titanfall at PAX was any indication of the hype, I am not worried.

 
Ugh, I'm so tired of these PC gamers who feel the need to spread the gospel of the wonders that is PC games. If I wanted to play on PC, I'd already be doing it. For the past 12-13 years I've been using the internet, PC gamers haven't changed my mind; I don't think they'll be changing my mind anytime soon.

i was the same way when it came to pc saying i would never game big on pc but then i got a gaming pc for heck of it and happy i did. i have saved i would say couple 100 bucks thanks to steam and amazon digital game sales. I use 360 game pad for most games so it's just like playing on console.

Other than indie games, a few multiplayer games (which I would rather play on consoles, which my friends actually have), and simulators, I just don't feel PC games.

 
yeah i don't play any mp games on pc other then battlefield games. When you do most mp games on pc you get people using hacks and what not which just destroys the fun of it.

 
No offense to Xbone fans but it's pretty damn silly to assume that Titanfall (or any FPS game for that matter) will bother Sony fans. Casual PS4 owners, maybe.

i never even played any of those games my so called profiles as listed lol only games i play on ps3 is ps3 only games and mostly mlb the show games plus thats not even my psn name lol

you are right what im i talking about you know me to well you can tell every single game i have played in my life time next you will tell me what i had for dinner tonight. if i never played killzone two why would i say i loved it so much? i played 3 th ull freaking story and it was alright like i said mp was below avg at best.

Most days I read the posts on this thread I do what Trevor is doing in the sig above me.  Today's theme for the thread was "Damage control for the PS4" which is odd, but understandable considering the infestation we have here.
