most likely due to people from different countries signing into the account. most businesses that have gift cards take note of things like that and put holds on the cards for that reason.

 
My main was reset as well but I just set up a new password via the email they sent and it was fine. Wonder what's going on.

Also, I'm looking for BF4 Premium for PS4. PM me or post it up if you have it or let's get a new group going?
 
I see.  I was just curious; they did re-set the password on my main but didn't notify me, which I find strange.  I guess that may be everyone's experience, though.

 
No they don't send you email about resetting PW. I recently posted about this issue, I logged in and saw this "email PW isn't correct" both on PS3 and on web store, I said WTF and though my account was hijacked, but it wasnt, gladly I still remember the DoB I putted in back then. Even after my PW was changed, I didn't receive any email. Not sure if they just reset the main account or all the accounts on the console.

Lol, your late for the party, but yes gamesharing works on PS4. It's just there's different restrictions applied to it compared to ps3 gamesharing.

On a different note, I haven't received any password reset notifications yet when I signed onto my main acc ._.

 
they reset my pass too

this is bad... if resell accts passwords were reset we just lost all them unless hosts were using legit emails, and thats assuming they didn't fake the birthday date

god dammit. i just checked two resells and nothing yet... this is very strange considering my main is only shared b/w me and a friend who lives in the US, never logged in outside of the country.

this is kinda bs... some ppl could have just lost their main acct if they don't have access to the email anymore.

phew. it must affect accounts that have a certain number of trophies on them or something. still, hope i don't find that some resells are now permanently lost

 
If any of the accounts I hosted got reset, resells feel free to drop me a message. All of my previously hosted acc has @gmx.com, which no one else seems to use.

if i'm host i always just use my birthday to be safe. i'd imagine we can also just actually create the fake emails we use and then have the pass sent to them

Some PSN account passwords were reset today for routine protection.  

If thats their official statement it really looks shady now, what are they tryin to cover up? It can only be a new hack, or technical problems related to the ps4 launch and network changes. Hoping for the latter

Thinking of doing a Battlefield 4 Premium group and want to see if anyone is interested in the 2 PS3 resell slots.  I'm open to people taking the phantom slots but you won't have access to the DLC maps.

 
So I went to continue my BF4 campaign, only to realize that my save has been wiped. On top of that, downloading the save from PS Plus seems to do nothing. So yay, I was on chapter three of hard with all collectibles up to that point and now I get to start over!

Apparently this is a known issue that has impacted PS3 and PS4 players, so watch out folks.
