Seems the site is not working right. It doesn't discount the bullfrog games I already have from the list.
Yeah, same here. I already own all the games in the pack. But when I try to un-click even one game on that list, the discount drops to 50%.

I wonder if they've changed how the packs work, or if it is just a glitch?

The indie games kill those deals. Mixing indie games/previously bundled crap with classics = horrible idea.

Fail GOG. After the last sale, I thought that they may have finally realised that pack sales are annoying and put a lot of people off. Obviously not.

Exactly. I was excited voting for the Bullfrog games yesterday thinking they'd all be 75% off. Now that I see it's an all or nothing thing, I'm not bothering on voting or checking any deals. I like to hoard on my own terms.

Ok.. classic box is working properly for me now. I got Total Annihilation: Commander Pack 70% OFF

At least I don't own it.. but I don't think I want it.

EDIT: Then I went to the store page and saw this..

ATI/AMD compatibility notice: Total Annihilation: Commander Pack requires graphic card drivers version 13.4 or older.

Makes it easier to pass.

Classic and got 75% earthworm Jim. Passss

The bullfrog pack thing is a bug. If you manually un check and go to checkout, it keeps the 75% discount. GOG is working on this

I actually played a fair bit through BloodRayne 1 (at the time it was just known as BloodRayne).  It wasn't half bad for a DMC type clone.  A little long and repetitive at parts (for what it is) but I always meant to go back and finish it.  2 wasn't as well review IIRC.

After the awesomeness that was the insomnia sale, I've gotta say that I've been pretty underwhelmed with the holiday sale. Even last years setup would have been preferable to this.

Thanks for that info. I got the same deal and was thinking of buying it.

Gifting the Fallout Series is working again
Does anyone know if the email address used for the gift has to eventually match email on a GOG account. I was thinking of sending a gift to one of my alternate email addresses so I could give it to someone later. Is this what everyone is doing for gifts that aren't really being gifted at the time of "purchase"?

It doesn't. In fact, as long as the gift hasn't been redeemed, you can resend it to whatever email, however many times you want.

When does the 2013 winter sale end? Waiting to buy on the last day.
If I had to guess you wont even have to wait till the end. In every GOG sale Ive seen they've blown their wad about halfway through and after that they do a big recap day and then start recycling all the old deals. The only exception being the insomnia sale, but thats only cause they didnt do a full recap at once

Can you explain what the insomnia sale was?
It was a sale GOG had not long ago, where they had X number of copies of a game for a sale price, when all copies were gone, they put up another game and so on. At some point they started repeating earlier games, albeit with larger initial numbers of games available. In between games for sale, they threw in x copies of a game for free, but those were as easy to catch as a Leprechaun. It was a pretty cool idea and kept me engaged until the "Jack Keane 2 Incident". Jack Keane 2 was made available in large quantities and it took GOG about 10 hours to slowly sell each and every one of those bad boys....

Oh, thanks. Were there a lot of good deals then? I kept hearing about Jack Keane 2 but thought they were giving it away, and even for free, couldn't go through their allotment.

That was one of the few sales where GOG had mostly 75%-80% off. Most of their sales average in the 50%-75% off range.

Also, what Neuro5i5 didn't want to tell you was that Jack Keane 2 became the dark poster-child for the insomnia sale. See, the games were sold in a specific quantity ranging from something like 100 to 1200 and were sold sequentially; therefore, one game had to be completely sold out before another would be put up for sale. I still raise a glass to those poor bastards who paid $14 for Jack Keane 2 so I could get Planescape: Torment for $2.

Some of the more sleep-deprived amongst us actually had hallucinations about Jack Keane and were convinced that GOG had some kind of enmity against us for badmouthing their previous sales.
