In the end, trophies are there to add replay value. I can get why you'd complain that they're ridiculous and took too long, but Uncharted's were there to give people something to work towards. IMO DLC is just extra credit, platinum is what really matters. If DLC is too expensive or would take too long to complete I just avoid it. Not like anyone but me is going to care about my trophy card in the end anyway.

Plus, if you just wait until the mp trophies are out, you might save time. If they have one like "win 50 matches of survivors" then you could pair that up with the firefly/hunter journey trophies that take 80+ matches each and are required for the plat.

Yeah, but im a completionist. I completed the U3 DLC, and it was a pain in the ass. Wouldnt ever want to do it again.

I like my platinums, sure, but if the only trophies to aspire towards are platinums, then that warrants every non plat PSN game useless - and I dont really think that.

I like 100%s - maybe more so than platinums. My average completion is something like 91.4% and would be considerably higher if not for DLC's that I still have to complete.

After they hit us with U3 DLC I swore I wouldnt play TLOU if they came out with ridiculously DLC trophies... so, thats what concerns me haha. Dont want anything to do with it if its ever going to have trophies that take months and months to get

I'm still surprised at how much people are attracted to trophies/achievements. For me, there have been precious few ach/trophs that I have gone out of my way to get. And those were mostly because the way to get them sounded cool. However, just collecting things for the heck of it or needing to make a multiplayer group just to "boost" seems like a bridge too far for me.  But hey, there seem to be a lot of people who like them so rock on.

Any shares of "Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons" floating around (RS/TS/PT doesnt matter)

I completely agree with you on trophies, and I've also been actively seeking a Brothers share. Am I you? Are you me? Are we... we?

I KNOW SOMEBODY GOT A BROTHERS SHARE UP IN THIS PIECE. HELLO? Is there any growing interest in starting another group? This is has been mentioned in a bunch GOTY discussions and somehow it completely went under my radar...

I go for as many trophies as I can in the games I play. I never play a game specifically for trophies, and I never ignore a game if the trophy list is too hard. If a single trophy will take me over 10 hours of gameplay, I ignore those too. Value my time too much. I never boost unless it's incredibly short, and I never pay for DLC that I know I won't get my money's worth out of.

All the power to you completionists out there. As long as you realize you are only actually being rewarded in the form of your own personal enjoyment. If you truly think anyone (even other hardcore trophy hunters) cares about your completion percentage or number of completed games or anything like that, you're being naive. It's very rare anyone will look at your gamercard more than a handful of times, esp on ps3 where the compare system sucks. But if you are doing it because it's something you personally get enjoyment out of, by all means, enjoy yourself. Just don't fool yourself into doing it for the wrong reasons. I had a lot of friends on 360 who would spend hundreds of dollars on dlc and crap just to raise their percentage, claiming they were doing it for bragging rights. Most of those people aren't playing video games for more than a few hours a week anymore, prob found out nobody cared lol

I hope none of that sounded condescending, it's just the reality of the situation

Um. Yea...so. @Bigwig_rah just gave his Brothers share away. I'm going to finish it tonight, and pass it to on to @Hostyl or whomever wants it if he doesn't.

So many of you guys have been so freaking kind and giving. I feel unworthy. :cry: So, I shall dig within my coffers to donate some stuff to the library as well.

I care for trophies but I won't go out of my way to do some of the grindy ones. For example I did most of the SP trophies for Black Flag as they mostly came with progression of the game. I believe a few involved killing in a certain manner, nothing like kill 1000 enemies with a pen knife while wearing a dress.

If it's alright for all of us to daisy-chain the same share, I dont see why we'd need a group.  I'm more than willing to wait for a timeshare.  But if someone is itching to play *likenow* I'll stay in the group to keep it complete. Cheers.

I hope they plan on releasing them on PS4.. since KH3 is coming to PS4,, it'd make more sense for fans to have all games on same system or new fans as well

Yeah, i totally agree, yet in my case it won't work bc if i get the share i problably won't play it right now and i wouldn't be comfortable w/ that.

Anyways, it's undestandable if you guys want to pass the share around, so no worries about me lol seriously, like i said i just saw 3 people interested and why not?

I don't have rush on get the game and i can wait, btw it seem Brother will enter in promo(3.95£) for EU store, so maybe i'll start another group at the time.

I am just putting this out there so everyone knows if there is an issue.

GordonGecko joined a group that we have going. I decided to give him a chance but I posted this in a private thread. I asked for a deposit due to them being new member. They said NO so I posted the section below.

@Gordon - Not an issue about the deposit, I will give the spot to another person. However, something to think about is that when a new person comes in with basically no reputation and gets into a group with someone who has well over 150 reputation and says that they don't want to pay a deposit it really makes it look like you are trying to do something shady. I have always been told that if you don't plan to screw someone over then it shouldn't matter if the deposit is $1 or $1000 because you will get it back if you do what you say you were going to. Anyways, good luck out there.

This is the response that I received.

tons of scams operate with deposits and its again paypal TOS , i received over $250k in my paypal account over the years i would not risk it for $20 not even for $20k. i just bought the games legit in PSN for my little brother because its too time consuming to deal with all the broke children here. 

I am just going to respond to Gordon in the thread and not in a private message. I am a educated 31 year old who does research and development for a major pharmaceutical company. I am not a broke child like you have insinuated, however, I cannot speak for everyone else in here. :D Maybe someone else would like to enlighten you as to their situation but I think I am good.
