I disagree. We don't say "angst" is German, "cheetah" as Indian, "sofa" as Arabic, "silk" as Chinese, "zombie" as West African, "vanilla" as Spanish, "cartoon" as Italian, or "cookie" as Dutch.

I don't remember WfC taking this long. Oh well, I have the backlog to wait. Take over a year to get through my 3ds games alone.

Are they still responsible for all the good old Star Trek games never going on GOG? They published originally, but CBS holds the rights to gaming now...

Educate yourself about loanwords in Japanese, or just read a brief primer on Katakana. Your retort is very far off.

ピンク is a phonetic representation of pi-n-ku (where that ku, is short and closer to k than ko) in a script largely reserved for writing loanwords.

I believe this is the first badge that you craft above level 5 and since the cards are going to expire, this makes the badge more unique to badge collectors. For every completed set of snow globe cards crafted, you will get a random game item. The rare items rewarded for popular games like TF2, Dota 2 may rise in value as they are only limited to the amount crafted during this period.

Your Steam levels do increases your rate of receiving a booster pack drop:

  • Level 10: +20% increase in your drop rate
  • Level 20: +40% increase in your drop rate
  • Level 30: +60% increase in your drop rate
  • Level 40: +80% increase in your drop rate
  • Level 50: +100% increase in your drop rate
I find most of the emoticons useless but the ones for snow globe seem more functional than others so maybe that is another attractor.

Yeah, I thought it was just another cutscene so I sat back and lit a cigarette while my wife and I watched as Lara barely missed getting crushed by an airplane wing only to get impaled at the bottom of the mountain. shit just realized this could be a spoiler. ummmm for everyone who hasn't played tomb raider, i ummm, uummmmm photoshopped that pic, yeah that's right, that sounds good.

I know what katakana is. ピンク may have had a foreign origin, but so did all the words I listed. It's part of the language now, just like all sorts of words Japan didn't have words for. And even most of their words were loan words from Chinese, except what rare words without on- readings.

I'm playing card generating games at the moment. Some are pretty fun, and one I almost beat during the card generation time (old bundled game ARES...alright game feels like a slightly more lame Metroid type game....more like  the Mega Man Zero games but not as fun).

My favorite game I was only playing for cards of the year was Eversion.  That game.  Man.

Would have crafted the badge in its honor, but the cards were just too valuable to keep.

Anyone have feedback on Legend of Dungeon? I love local multiplayer games. How does it rate? Is it super hard? My friends and family I trick into playing wouldn't be into that. Oh man, it has dynamic music, that's like pantsattack catnip. Also, it's on the humblestore and already has a Linux port...hmm.,

last winter battlefront 2 went on sale for $2.50, and over the sumemr it was $3.33, i would love to see either happen again because I missed both.

 
What kind of cheap crap did you guys buy from Amazon to get editor's choice credits? I decided I better get some credits so I bought a .66 Borderlands skin and a .40 Saints Row 4 rifle. Thinking about grabbing that .39 Rochard DLC also. I think 2 or 3 should be good enough.

Age of Empires worth snagging? I'm looking at grabbing the complete collection for $13.74. Haven't played a strategy game in a long time and I already have Civ IV and V on the backlog to get through. Is it worth picking up now or should I just hold off?

I think I'm gonna get Stealth Bastard for 2.49 also, and the DLC for .74. From Amazon for credit.

Anyone want to talk me out of Stealth Bastard? It looks pretty cool.

Ah hell I can't pay 2.49 when it's 1.99 on Greenman, maybe I'll buy it from GMG and get the DLC on Amazon.

It's strictly a puzzle platformer with a stealth coat of paint. It looks nice and plays well, but doesn't have any options or improvisation which is why I like stealth. I played the free version before buying this so I knew what I was getting.
