Amazon Warehouse Deals Thread X

May be off topic but has anyone ever ordered section figures through amazon warehouse deals? I'm wondering if they still come packaged and how did they usually come for you?

Select games unfortunately. The most notable are Kid Icarus, Monster Hunter 3 (and 4 when it comes out) and RE Revelations. Works with a few more including KH3D and the freemium Steel Diver game that just came out but it's a short list. I grabbed one when the price dropped for those games and for MH4U when it comes out since it was available for $20 plus tax and shipping (making it around $25-26 total) direct from Nintendo but it's no longer available through them.

Still a good list of games that utilize it. It would be nice if the support extended further than those select titles making my decision to bite all too easy. For now I shall pass, and thanks for the info.

Yeah, especially because the games that do support it are all supposed to control drastically better with it. Also it does have a contoured back with sort of grips on it so it does serve a dual function and hopefully it will make the system more comfortable to hold.

Not bad, but still an add on in my eyes than a necessity. Good to know about the feel, comfort and control so I might give it a whirl if it drops in price further but that could be a while.

Yep, probably won't be much cheaper since there's not many on eBay and there's no official way to get it in NA with Nintendo no longer offering it.

 
Update re: Bricked PS4. After hearing about Sony horror stories (mainly taking forever to process the returns) I decided to hit up Amazon to see if they could do any better and they offered to let me buy a new console + 1 day shipping and they'd refund the difference. Granted, they're not back in stock until Feb 22 but that's still probably going to be faster than the Sony method.

Make sure you keep an eye on the battery levels and make sure it can hold a charge. I bought a used PSP GO once, and it died on me the day before I could return it for a full refund at Gamestop.

Personally I think the best use of a PSP Go is as a console. Get a stand for it, use the TV out, and sync a DS3 with it and you're good to go. Battery life is a non issue using it like that. I do all my gaming at home though. Though nothing wrong with having 2 PSPs, right?

It can do that? Is it just the Go or can the regular PSP do that as well? That alone is a pretty sexy notion of why I would want to own one.

Only the Go can do it. That is why I bought one even though I already had 2 PSPs =P

Also I just bought a good Black Ops 2 for Wii U for $3.29.

I was unaware of that, but it still doesn't seem to make sense in my mind. Flying it from Texas to Ten to LA rather than just from Texas to LA? That's just an additional flight and probably an additional day. It's bad enough this is taking 5-6 days when I ordered it with Prime.

Well depending on where it's coming from in Texas and where it's going to in Tennessee it's a lot closer than going straight to LA, and if they have a major processing hub there than they also probably launch a launch of planes headed to the west coast out of there. So it almost certainly is more economical to them to do it that way.

 
I believe the psp can be plugged into the tv as well. Which is another thing I plan to do with it but haven't gotten around to yet  :whistle2:
