New Thread:

This thread has been replaced by TSDT v11

Daily Deal:
Please check the Steam homepage.

Weeklong Deals:
Steam usually has week-long deals that change on Mondays at 6PM UTC. They mostly feature indie games, and may not run every week.

Sale summary lists:

Key:
⤷ indicates DLC, — specifies part of a pack, + shows alternative versions, ⚠ highlights things worth knowing, ♫ is obvious, and ... denotes a multi-pack.

Holiday Sale 2013 | 19/12/13 through 3/1/14:
Days 1-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12, 13-14.

Spring/Autumn Sale 2013 | 27/11/13 through 3/12/13:
All days.

Steam deals on other stores: (Related threads on CAG.)

Indie* bundle threads: (*Not always indie, nor always a bundle.)

Free stuff:
There are quite a few free games (mostly Free to Play) and mods available via the Steam platform, a comprehensive list of which can be found in this thread on the SPUF.
(NOTE: free games are not permanently attached to your Steam account like actual purchases would be. You'll need to manually download a game again from the website if you uninstall it.)

I already have Marlow and it is indeed cheesy fun, but I'm struggling to find the desire to pay $1 for the other two which have absolutely horrid review scores pretty much everywhere.

I wish it was true PWYW so I could pay a penny. :p

ETA: Takedown has cards so I guess there's that. Bleh.
Takedown has a 34/2.6 metascore/user score...rekoil has a 32/2.5...lol.

Was gonna sell both of them, guess I'll litter my account with Takedown for card money.

I'm holding out for Ashes Cricket 2013 as a second week bonus in that 505 bundle. They probably generated a bunch of keys before it was taken down, right? They shouldn't go to waste.

On one Windows 7 license?

I may do stuff to programs that's less than legal, but the one thing I -never- mess around with is the operating system.
Well I was thinking more legit licenses though admittedly when I did it it was when 8 first came out and the licenses were going for really cheap.

Edit: To clarify I had an old legit Win 7 32-bit license and a new legit Win 8 64 bit legit license I had gotten when Microsoft was selling them cheap on release for a limited time. And yes Ashes I know you just vomited in your mouth at the mention of Windows 8.

If you just want to play that one game you could install 64-bit Windows without activating it. You'll probably finish within the 30 day trial.

So, I got home and tried to put my codes in for the PayWUW bundle and none of the codes work... well done 505. I contacted support so hopefully they handle it appropriately.

There's apparently GMG/Playfire rewards for playing it and Hexcel for the first time.

http://blog.playfire.com/2014/02/wednesdays-rewards-19022014.html

It's only 10 cents but free is free. Ends the 25th though so let's hope they don't drag their feet or get stupid about the keys.
Not even 10 cents ! It's more. Playfire currently has rewards listed in British pounds, so you'll get a decent amount after conversion to USD. I've thought about getting Card City Nights for this exact reason; If you unlock all those achievements, you'll get $3.00 credit.

Hope they drop them today. I'm stuck at work all day tomorrow. Couldn't even try to get away for 2 seconds to attempt to grab a code.

You know me too well. I taste a bit of sick in the back of my mouth.

And then you can renew that trial several times...

And reinstall... or delete a few files to reset your number of renewals...

...not quite as easy as setting your clock far in the future before installing shareware...

Paywuw send me 3 confirmations email for the same purchase.

Gotta admire the professionalism.
Just like Steam sent you free weekends for free weekends for free weekends.

Crater Maker & Hero Siege are in two different bundles at the moment.

ALSO, what games are you guys seeing for Blink Bundle ? http://blinkbundle.com/
Vox, Little Racers Street, and King Arthur's Gold are confirmed (G, N, C).

Hmm, damn, I want LRS, but I don't give a damn about Vox and I already own KA.
Hopefully the other games aren't repeats so it'll tempt you to buy it. LRS is worth picking up, I think you'd like it.. and the multiplayer is very good if you can find people playing (not many people play it currently).

M in the Blink Bundle teaser is for Iesabel

If you're looking to clear out a spot in your 4 in February challenge and you own The Maw, give that a shot. Game is fairly short and pretty easy. Yet it's also kinda fun. So it's worth playing even if you aren't trying to do the challenge.

The base game without any of the DLC levels will probably run you about 2 1/2 hours to complete. Less than that if you don't care about getting 100% on each level. The DLC levels will run you about 20-30 minutes for each of them. So add time accordingly. But still, even with the DLC levels, you can beat it in an evening of gaming.
