You can't even just download the film from Groupees. It gives you a broken looking txt file that you can grab a link out of to some film festival website, where you have to make an account, then purchase the film with a discount code, THEN you can download or stream it.

I wasn't very interested in the first place, but c'mon Groupees... That's just lazy.

The textfile is fine as long as you're not using notepad. Looks fine in wordpad.

Even after you download the program needed to watch the downloaded video, you have to enter a username and password.. pretty crappy. Probably better off streaming it.

I use Word for everything but txt files, and I actually use notepad all the time, so I have that set to open txt files. Word opens docs and whatnot. That makes sense though.

I think it's a RTF file, and I think it's disgusting that they've included a bonus that's DRM-laden and that the majority of the world can't access.
 
Has anyone read any of the ebooks in the Steampunk bundle? I think it's the first bundle where I've actually been interested in stuff besides the games.

Actually looks a little interesting to me, but I wish they would have dedicated more time to the enemies. I think I only saw two enemy types and they both looked bland.

 
Unmechanical is nice and short, in case anyone's got a copy sitting in their backlog and's still looking for a 4/Feb title. It's longer on style than story, but that was fine with me.

Also, the achievements can all be done in a single playthrough if you're either clever enough or don't mind peeking at a guide.

I guess I'll wait and see what the other bundles look like as I have the first two in this one. I'm not sure what the last one is, but it doesn't show up on Steam. 

Unmechanical is pretty cool -- looks nice too. And it's definitely a game you can relax with.

Slip doesn't look bad, it's on greenlight. I have a feeling it'll be one of those 2hard4me games though.

Bah, wish they had put Legends of Arthritis in this. I still haven't bought the Blink Bundle and probably wouldn't if I already had LoA.

Well, Jonny is being a bit shady about it.. this is what he posted in the chat..

"I can say this with 100% confidence...mystery game is every bit as good as Legends..."

"can't imagine anyone will dispute this"

Makes it sound like the mystery game they're adding is LoA, which is dumb because the Blink guys have the right to extend their bundle which would present the same screwed up situation again.
