All Steam Origin Uplay DRM Free

[There are currently no known available vouchers, credits, promos, codes, etc. that can be manually applied to purchases.]

Note: Be sure to check DRM prior to purchase. It will typically be listed to the right of the description, just above the System Requirements. There are several instances where games may vary in DRM type even within the same bundle. You have been warned.

I'm not sure why I follow the GG thread, it's obvious having any hope for a glitch or decent sale cannot be the correct answer. Perhaps it's just because this is the one thread that has a neat looking next to it. Oh shit, what have I done?

Edit: I'm just kidding, I come here for the hope.

With less DRM than you can handle.
Both of them have been $1.34 each on GG before, according to IsThereAnyDeal.

I do have both from Retail.

I loved the original FF, but never really touched Freedom Force V 3R.

Hmmmm - those might be worth putting on my weak W8 laptop, eh? ;)

What's the cheapest Steam-version of these two been each? Together?

Any clue?

Anyone know if Steam-versions of Freedom Force 1 + Freedom Force Vs. Third Reich has CEG?

i.e. Can you boot the game w/ Steam closed and it does NOT force Steam to boot?

It's been $2.50 before on Steam though not for over a year. This is noted on the price history of isthereanydeal. Steam only sells it as a pack with both. No idea about whether it requires the client or not if you get it on Steam. I like Steam DRM so I don't concern myself with such things. :p

There's also a bunch of people on the Steam forum screaming that it doesn't work with Windows Vista/7/8 while some others say it can be made to work if you jump through a bunch of hoops.

Oooh - that's all good to know. Thanks, I appreciate all of the info.

EDIT:

I just tried my Retail 2-disc copy (which requires disc in the drive to boot game up) of FFvT3R on my main rig - which is running W7 64-bit, i7 950, 1 GB of GTX 560 Ti, 8 GB of RAM.

I pretty much did my usual assortment of things to get old games running on modern OS's: set the shortcut's Compatibility Mode to run in a system it was working on/listed for on the box, which would be Win XP SP3 in this case; disable Desktop Comp; disable Visual Themes; Run as Admin.

Game runs fine here - all maxed-out in 1920x1080x16. Just played through tutorial mission, for the hell of it. Got to Cuba mission and stopped.

Can't speak for Steam-version, GG-versions, or GoG-versions of this game.

Daily Deal
66% off Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion (Steam) - $13.58

Weekly, Midweek and Weekend Deals
80% off on UIG Games (Ends 3/17)
Save up to 74% off on select Typing of the Dead Games and DLC (Ends 3/13)
83% off DiRT Showdown (Steam) - $5.02 (Ends 3/13)
83% off DiRT 3 (Steam) - $6.24 (Ends 3/13
I might've been tempted to buy Typing of the Dead since I have some spare blue coins left over, but nope.. GG had to raise the MSRP by $5. I don't know why I bother with GG anymore.

Man UIG is really pimping out their half baked German scheisse lately. It seems like at any given moment it's on some sale or bundle or both somewhere. And didn't GG themselves just have it on sale like last week or the week before?

Their games are terrible and they have zero quality control. If they sneak in with a bundle and just just want to check it out for the shits and grins for 5 minutes fine, but I would actually attempt to purposely buy them by themselves.

Most of those have been bundled before and paper sorcerer is $5 regular price by itself (meaning it will be much cheaper than that on a sale).

Creeper World 3 hasn't been bundled yet, either. I'm not sure that makes any difference at all. Still not worth grabbing this bundle.

I'm thinking it has something to do with region and possibly VPN trickery. I can't get it to go under 4 on US or UK site.
Works fine for me on UK site, no VPN or anything.

EU site has min. 4€

Check the Custom radio and input 0.01£ (0.00 doesn't work)

Edit: Haha I get more bluecoins for rating games than I paid :D

GG GG!
