I've disabled sigs on every forum I've ever been a member of if there's the option (including this one).  I may miss out on something every once in a while, but the benefits to my sanity and eyesight far outweigh that minor disadvantage - plus I have to scroll far less on every page.

I'm lame and I don't disable sigs. Maybe because I like mine too much or don't want to miss out on anything particularly hilarious.

Also, you and the guy with the Dib avatar have to fight to the death. In case you didn't get the memo. :bouncy:

I kinda like the way Gaia (yesIhaveanaccountthereshutup) does it, where only the last post a user makes on given page has the signature attached.

I don't, however, like the way Gaia does anything else, but you take what you can get.

This is actually one of the few forums where the sigs aren't overly annoying to me and thank god this isn't 10 years ago when a page was about 75% banner sigs and 25% content.

I think old CAG had the same feature... Right?

It sure seems like it at times...

Dib: You picked the wrong planet to land on, Zim!
Zim: Wait a minute! What planet is this?
Dib: Earth.
Zim: Nope, this is the right planet.

Also, I'll hopefully have the "help" of the guy with the Gir avatar - so I'm all set!

You're probably right - but I've had them disabled on principle since I joined - so I'll never know! :) And yeah.. back around that time then I didn't disable them (I don't even think it was an option most places) - and that's exactly why I disable them now.

Old CAG did actually have that feature where the sig would only be displayed once per page (the first post I think). But you know it's a trade off. CAG 3.0 gives you... ummm...something positive, right? And in exchange you have to deal with broken wikis, repeated sigs, etc.

Dib knocks on the door with a smirk on his face. Zim opens the door, looking somewhat confused.

Zim: Huh?

Dib: I've got a few things to tell you, Zim.

The camera pans upwards towards the sky. The sun changes from mid-day to early evening. The camera pans back down.

Dib: And that's all I have to say about that.

Zim ponders this for a moment.

Zim: Ehh... okay.

Zim walks back inside his house for a few seconds, and comes back with a suitcase and GIR.

Zim: I can't argue with that, Dib. You've won. I'm giving myself up to the Earth authorities.

Zim turns to GIR.

Zim: It's been nice working with you, GIR! Now, self-destruct.

GIR, reporting for duty!

Word of warning, I've had two separate Mac keys from two separate retailers NOT activate the PC version of Jedi Outcast. It seems to be an issue on Valve's end, but Steam CS is both inept and doesn't care to investigate.
Seems like this has been fixed today. If someone bought and found out it didn't work. (Sale's probably over)

Also for another Star Wars game too.

Instructions on how to get a free Paranormal State steam key is up:

http://steamcommunity.com/groups/paranormalstategame#announcements/detail/1369400290251307570

To help us make this process smooth and easy, please follow these instructions exactly, otherwise you may not receive your free key.

1) First of all, you must have voted YES during the Steam Greenlight process and joined the PRS group. If you're seeing this message, chances are you're already eligible :)

2) Email paranormalstate(at)legacygames.com with the subject line "Steam Key Request"

3) In the message field, please INCLUDE YOUR STEAM ID. Your Steam ID is a 17-digit number. For example, our ID is 76561198070605410. To find your Steam ID, please visit this site and enter your login name: http://steamidfinder.com/

4) Please allow a couple days to a couple weeks for us to reply with your Steam Key. Remember, sending out over 6,000 keys is no easy task!

5) Enjoy the game!

I saw that and just sent mine in but it's going to be a cluster between the people confused about how and what their ID # is and them manually handling thousands of requests. Pretty much a textbook example of how not to handle free key promotions.
Yeah, I really think they should've hired Carl to make a site for them. Seems to be the easiest way so far to distribute keys.

What's worse is when you go to that id finder site it didn't give me my steam ID, it gave me like another weird code/number when I entered my Community Profile link and then when I entered that number is when it finally gave me the real one.

Those 7 people that voted for Demigod... :wall:
I've been trying to win Demigod for over a year now. I could easily buy it, but every time I see it available on steamgifts I enter to try to win. No luck yet, and I do know what I'm getting into as I enjoyed it previously with bots. So there's the 8th vote for Demigod.

Yeah, guys. You can't beat Motoki
FWIW I refused to vote for that damned game. They never did fix the sound stuttering that a number of people, including myself, had with the first Agarest game they released on Steam. It was on their list of known issues early on and then eventually they just ignored it.

No thanks. They can keep their cat ears and bikinis.
