[PC] The Indie Gala Thread

The new Gala bundle isn't a monday bundle, but it has the "24 hour discount", so I wonder f I should buy now or wait for the the possible HH :whistle2:k

I have at least half of what's in here so I'm personally in the $2 or less HH or GTFO category.

 
So.. the general consensus is, then, that there will be a HH for the Last Dream Bundle? 

I remember everyone talking about a specific number of gift options giving away their intent to allow HH.

With how frequent HHs were for Doorways and Supreme, it's highly likely.

Mysterious won't get one though. Anyways, count me in for 1 if HH happens, Fox.

Honestly, Mysterious could have easily been Monday 4 with how low the buy-in price is/was. I guess they I didn't want to compete against themselves too much? Either way, guess I'm done with Gala this week then.

I just noticed Always Remember Me is on Steam, which was a Desura key in the Indie Gala Capsule bundle. 

Should we be getting Steam keys for this at some point then?

Yes, but the dev is having trouble getting keys to certain bundle buyers, including Gala.

So, you know, the usual.

 
Ugh... I'm only missing Crystal Towers 2, Shad'o, and Love. The greenlight game looks really generic too. I think I'd need these Steam games to be less than $1 each to be very appealing. I think I'll pass on this one.

At least there are 2 games you want from it. All I want is Scourge Outbreak. As always with Indie Gala Monday/Capsule Computers bundles, there's only 1 game I want..

Same, I already have Legends of Arthritis and Kaptain Bra but the others don't appeal to me.

Crystal Towers 2 ... Desura, looks shite

Love ... looks shite and looks like shite

Shad'O ... I've got TD games coming outta my ass now

So that leaves Scourge, which looks great and is probably worth $2 on it's own but I'll just wait for it's inevitable rebundling.

Those are both repeats for me too. Scourge Outbreak is the stand-out here, so think of it as 75% off sale for it.

I'll probably bite if no other good deals pop up during the day. As always, I'll host if they have a HH for no reason. :p

And just to mess with you some of you, I'll mention the fact that Love, Shad'O AND Scourge Outbreak all have cards. Least they got that part right.

Love is decent, but 25 minutes long. Yeah, you could replay it to get better scores, but I don't think anyone is actually going to do that. It could really use Steam workshop support.
 
Don't own Shad'o, Crystal Towers 2, or Scourge.

Crystal Towers 2 looks like a crappy DOS Sonic rip-off. Shad'o looks a bit generic, and I prefer my tower defense on mobile. Scourge... looks okay, but I'd have to install a newer OSX version to play it on my Mac, which sounds annoying.

I mean, I'm gonna do that eventually, but it's gonna be in a better bundle eventually, so whatever.

I'm not a big platformer fan but I enjoyed Love, and I appreciated it being short. The minimalistic graphics worked in favor of core-platforming.

Iirc, it was Groupees Retro, and steam key were delivered after it was greenlit, so you might already own a steam key for it without realizing it. #TrueCAG

 
Want the Scourge: Outbreak, don't want the rest haha....Shad'o looks ok...but yeah that's about it. Also Crystal Caves 2 reminds me those old DOS based platform games heck it looks like one I played one of the Hocus Pocus....course that was awesome haha. I may check card prices and decide to buy it then....for now...pass!

 
The Last Dream bundle looks pretty sweet but i'm going to wait for the new Blink Bundle that is suppose to come out this week just incase. Still will most likely be getting it though.

Blink has an exclusivity clause in their bundles from the time they sign to the end of the bundle. It's why Legend of Aethereus was announced as a bonus on one of the Clash of the World bundles and then never materialized and became "Bonus Game". Unless some developer managed to talk them out of that clause, there won't be anything from the next Blink in any currently running bundle.

Let's not pretend that last Blink was quality either.  It turned from a $5 bundle to a $10 bundle or whatever once you had to buy all that other crap to complete the games.
