it definitely looks nice, but the mechanics seemed 2nd rate when i played it. Ive only ever played the 360 version so maybe this is a console problem but the netcode was awful, how is the steam version?

The 360 version didn't receive updates for the longest time, I think they just recently updated it again with the "Encore" version. The netcode seemed ok for me, but depends on who you're playing with.

I've played through it, quite a while ago - back when I got it at Circuit City in a Retail Box.

Back then - I thought it was decent.

Back then - game ran like garbage on my rig. Hopefully, it runs better, these days.

The thing is - areas in the game often feel cramped + linear. So, if you prefer open-spaced shootouts and/or open-world shooters - this ain't for you.

I really liked the switching b/t the characters on the fly b/c "each one has special skills" mechanic that each had a purpose.

Story and action was solid.

Just...don't expect the best damn shooter ever made. It is certainly NOT that. FAR-FAR from that.

 
Heroes of Steel Tactics RPG is now on Steam, and Steam keys are available on Groupees if you bought Build a Bundle 8.

It has cards.

For those that want RO2 SP, but can't due to already having RS, read here.

1. Log out of/exit steam entirely (Log out through your browser as well.)
2. Go to the red orchestra store page:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/35450/
3. Click on install game
4. Steam will ask you to log in through your browser.
5. After you are taken to the "success" page, click on the "Yes, I have steam box"

For the URL error try these steps:

Logout.
Go to http://store.steampowered.com/app/35450/
Login (URL error here)
Now choose to go back 2 pages in your browser so you are back to the app/35450 page without reloading the page(worked in Firefox). You should be able to click the Install Game button and add it to your account without logging in.

I got 4 Dead Island Epidemic beta gifts in my inventory, whatever that means. Anybody want one or all of them?

I chose "install" on the red orchestra page and it gave a message about the game being tied to my account, I don't have to actually install it now do I? It specifically said it's on my account now.

Afaik, this uses GFWL, yeah? I highly doubt there's any plans to patch it out either.

Still, I've got like 11 days to decide according to the counter.

Because it's clunky/slow as all hell, and not that good of a fighting game imo even with the big patch. I'm just happy I got it for free. It's definitely better than MK vs. DC at least.

Can't wait for the next MK though, hate it when DC ties Netherrealm's hands behind their back with the stupid T rating shit.

Every iteration of Mountain Dew other than regular tastes bad. Even regular only tastes good from a fountain and with lots of ice. And I'm not a Mtn Dew hater, I pretty much lived on that crap for years until I quit it last fall.

Helping me save money by buying the ingredients seperately and mixing it myself instead of suffering the price gouging going on for the same stuff in a different looking bottle. I'm not just a Cheapass Gamer I'm also an all around Cheapass.

I'm confused....to save money, instead of buying a bottle of Baja Blast, you buy a bottle of Mountain Dew and a bottle of Gatorade and mix them together? Someone do the math on this for me.
