Just a heads up, my best buddy from KISS (not the band) has let me know that Street Racing Syndicate (was in Indie Gala Drawrves) is coming to Steam today as well as Realm of the Haunting (from Indie Gala Halloween Mix).

I'd imagine we'd get Steam keys for them.
Shouldn't that be in the Groupees thread? =P

Steam key was already in my Gamersgate account. Awesome. Thanks for the heads up.

Tremorgames still has copies of it for 995 coins (around $1). You just have to complete offers and stuff to earn coins to buy it. Shameless referral plug here:

http://www.cheapassgamer.com/topic/329862-get-assassins-creed-iii-bioshock-infinite-nba-2k14-and-others-steam-for-1/?p=11692782
Also if you want Street Racing Syndicate but haven't already bought the bundle it's only 195 coins there. You get DRM Free from Gamersgate and the Steam Key for the game that releases today like Carlmundo said. They have 85 left. Get it soon before Tremorgames realizes it's on steam now and jacks up the price.

You misspelled Taco Cabana.
I actually think TC is straight, but between the two I prefer Del Taco. They're sort of a little different since TC is more of a casual than straight up fast food. Taco Bueno is also dope.

Good tip. They do sell desura keys for super cheap. I just got Home Sheep Home 2 from them from Groupees. It was 295 coins and all I wanted from that bundle.

That was quick!

CoH2 free weekend. Cool.

Was thinking of getting it via AMD when they get keys, so I can test it before doing that.

Playfire rewards plz.

The Red Orchestra Franchise Pack is also 75% off ($14.99). It includes RO1, Rising Storm: GotY and the Digital Deluxe upgrade for RO2. It includes RO2 as well, but if you didn't get it for free yesterday I'd question your CAG status. :p

Steam keys are now available for Overcast - Walden and the Werewolf from the Indie Royale Halloween 2 Bundle. The same bundle that had Rise of the Ravager, but there are no Steam keys for that one yet.

Man, when is FTL: Faster Than Light going to be bundled again? I want to snag a copy for my buddy's birthday next month.

You thought $8 for Arkham Origins Blackgate last week was cheap?

$5 from Ubisoft store. Steamworks.

There's a code, 10THANKS, but it doesn't seem to work for me on this.

plft gave me the heads up

Nice find, guys. Code didn't work for me either, but even if it's a mediocre game, that's a solid buy-in price for more Batman.

I've just started wading into the new Cold, Cold Heart content for Origins. Interesting so far, but it does look a lot like a rehash of "Heart of Ice" and every other Mr. Freeze story in any medium ever (including the always-dreadful Batman and Robin and excluding the Mr. Freeze battle in Arkham City).

Let me just say:

You don't need it. Unless you really need a mediocre sidescrolling Batman, wait for the steam/(2nd)playfire bux sale, so you don't waste real money on this.

10thanks is EU-only. You can VPN to EU to use it.

But is it locked?

I'm just learning Russian, nothing shady...

By "real money" you mean pieces of green paper backed by the "full faith and credit" of the US Government?

They already gave out a ton of Playfire rewards for it already, unfortunately. But yes, echoing this. It's better than the handheld version but from what I've seen, not by much. It's just not that good to begin with.

They didn't even give me my rewards for it, and I actually played this one!

Stingy pricks

I like Batman. I even liked Origins, which people seem to hate. I don't have Gaben$ to buy this on Steam anyway, so I'm not too concerned about that (I have $0.67 in Steam pence and I use that kind of thing for crafting badges). Plus it's 75% off, which is my CAG discount buy-in price for many things--stuff just doesn't get cheaper than that usually (outside of bundles).

So unless it turns up in next week's HB WB2, I'm okay with shelling out $5.

It isn't terrible, and while you can certainly do worse for $5, you can definitely do better.

And a word of warning, near the end, the game throws in one of the dreaded Wind Waker-esque map wide fetch quests. It wasn't terribly taxing or long, it was just so disappointing to see, since the highlight of the game is its exploration. I wished I had known about it prior, cuz it really bummed me out.

Beyond that, make sure to laugh everytime Bats plays pattycake with the bad guys, and you'll have a better time. I know I sure did

That battle was one of the highlights of AC... it even gets better in NG+ iirc. It really played to the game's strengths.
Except the story behind that fight. 1 of the reason why I stop my playthrough of B:AC in steam.

Mr Freeze: I will smash this extra antidote instead of giving it to you Bat!

Batman: I will take the remaining antidote even by force if you do that.

Mr. Freeze: Ha! I will put it in my ultra secure safe and there is no chance you will get it! If you want it, rescue my wife first!

Batman: I don't take orders from you! Fight!!

(awesome boss fight)

Batman: You lose! I will take the antidote now.

Mr. Freeze: What about my wife!

Batman: (opens the safe) ....

Batman: So much for ultra secure safe! You forgot to secure the back wall Idiot!

Mr. Freeze: Eh?! The Evil Overlord manual says to only secure the door, not the walls around it!

Batman: Never fear! I will take the antidote back and rescue your wife!

Mr. Freeze: uhhh.. Why did we fight then if you intend to rescue my wife?

Batman: Why did you smash that extra test tube then! You could just give it to me and ask me nicely to get your wife for you!

And don't get me started on the ending! I don't know if that's the theme in the comics as I'm more of a Marvel guy than DC though.

For those who did get RO2 for free yesterday, the best deal is the Rising Storm - Digital Deluxe edition for $7.49, as this includes the DD upgrade for RO2. The Rising Storm GOTY content is just a free patch for all users. RO1 is pretty outdated at this point, but waiting for a 75% off sale still puts you ahead of getting that Franchise Pack.

I'm not going to argue with you... you're a lot more invested in the story than I am. I'm not a Batman fan. I've never read a single batman comic. I just liked the gameplay and better-than-game-property universe. (I mean this in the same way I really like The Darkness II's story/universe since it was far more developed than the usual game.)

Tend to usually fall on the gameplay > all else side of things. And in that regard the Mr Freeze fight was great.

Yeah, that boss fight is great. Actually, Bman gameplay mechanics is great overall. Its just how the events happens I have a gripe with.

I did not know that. Good point. :p

Also, shameless ad because I'm impatient. I'm hosting a 2-pack for Portal 2 ($4.37 each). If anyone's interested, PM me.

Well this was nice of them:

I used Paint to add spoder to the credits as he was moaning he had nothing to brag about for at least 2 hours.
