All Steam Origin Uplay DRM Free

[There are currently no known available vouchers, credits, promos, codes, etc. that can be manually applied to purchases.]

Note: Be sure to check DRM prior to purchase. It will typically be listed to the right of the description, just above the System Requirements. There are several instances where games may vary in DRM type even within the same bundle. You have been warned.

Comparing SMB to LBP to me is kind of like comparing Serious Sam to F.E.A.R. While both are in the same respective genres, one requires twitch and memory control, while the other does not (or at least to significantly smaller scale).
Yes, but they are both 2D platformers stripped down almost entirely to simply running and jumping (with one simply doing it significantly better than the other), so I couldn't say they are entirely different (certainly less than SS and F.E.A.R, one being a balls out arcade shooter, the other being much more tactile and focused around horror).

Not that I think LBP is at all about the platforming, I always considered the creative tools, huge amount of UGC, and unquestionable charm to be the reason to play it. Also it's a great couch coop game, which I always like to see more of.

i'd say it's more like comparing sonic 1 to sonic all stars racing; one is a platformer and one is the best rpg ever

also super meat boy is frustrating, but definitely good and i thought the controls were extremely responsive.

So not owning the Gold edition, I just bought something that I can't possibly use.

Oh well. I had too many Blue coins anyway.

Edit: Ashes got me covered. Thanks girl.

Heads up, the new SotS The Pit DLC is 91% off on GG UK.

http://www.gamersgate.co.uk/DLC-SOTSTPP/sword-of-the-stars-the-pit-the-pilgrim-dlc

Grab it while you can. This is about 26 cents in USD after conversion, or you can use blue coins.

Note: The Pilgrim DLC requires that you own the Gold edition DLC to activate/play.
Awesome. It only cost me like 200 blue coins, and it was the first thing I've bought with them.

Best part is with the rating/review bonuses, you can probably make most of your coins back.

I didn't know you needed the Gold DLC to play it, but lucky for me I already had it from the Roguelike Humble.

A few cents cheaper (before tax) ain't gonna kill me.

I already bought SoTS: Gold from Amazon, though.

Barely touched the game.

Just to clarify for everyone...

Option A) Sword of the Stars: The Pit - Gold Edition + The Pilgrim DLC

Option B) The Pilgrim DLC...requires The Gold Edition DLC...which requires Mind Games DLC...which requires the base game.

It's like they're playing mind games before you even buy the game/dlc.

My preferred option:

Option C) Don't buy any of it, cos it's bollocks

so if i buy the pilgrim dlc can i play it without buying anything else?

It's only a 4 cent difference, that's pretty bad. Also, the Gold Edition DLC by itself is 90% off, why is this one DLC the exception? :|

Never seen something weird like this from GG, but you're probably right. :p
You only just spent your first BlueCoins. so the "never seen something weird like this" means nothing

:newbie: Dumbass

I feel bad for you PC-only people, since they never made a PC port of the fantastic Scott Pilgrim game for you guys.
That game was dead to me once they came out with and charged for DLC that enabled online MP.. supposedly the netcode was crap anyway, dunno if they ever fixed it.

Well, I've followed the site for a while, just never really buy anything from there. But okay. :bouncy:

I don't think they ever promised online co-op like they did with Double Dragon Neon (which WayForward never delivered on despite the Steam port having it). Honestly, if they didn't charge for it, it never would have happened, so I didn't mind the cost so much (at least it came with a new character). I also think I got the online MP DLC on sale for $2.50, so that helps.

But yes, from what I remember, the netcode is kinda crap. You can play Level 1 with people online for free, it's the other levels you have to buy the $5 DLC for.

Double post, but I just took a look at the Capcom games, and they're still not at their original prices, but they're not at their sale prices either and they're not marked as on sale. Possible glitch inbound for the next Capcom sale?

All the sales have been doing that. I'm not sure if GG is hiring intern programmers or if Ashot P. is manually editing the db one character at a time.

Hope some expert or/and with better knowledge can explain it to you....but it's worse than SecuRom.

It usually has a certain amount of limit activation per game and besides that making some hardware changes on your computer doesn't seem to be liked by the Tagés.

Bleh.

I have all the STALKER games, but they got DRM.

(STALKER SOC + CS from Retail on DVD; STALKER: COP from GameStop PC App w/ I think Tages DRM).

I'd certainly love some DRM-FREE versions - likely, will end up getting those from GoG, one day...

Ah, okay. Got excited hoping it was them just forgetting. The prices still haven't been fixed to MSRP yet though, I'm holding out hope for a glitch.

I only posted because I was up early for some inexplicable reason, and was bored. I'll try not to post deals in this thread in the future. :p

Speaking of, new 12-hour deal in about a half-hour. So be on the lookout for a goof.
