Would be nice to actually spend my Playfire credit on something on sale. Total comes out to $9.60 with voucher (with 20 cents GMG credit back). Though I wonder if Mayhem will actually come through this year.

Had no idea The Darkness 1 never got ported to PC though. That's a shame.

I really enjoyed The Darkness II. I never played the first or read the comic.

First one and the comic are both pretty good. My LE of Darkness 2 came with a free digital copy of Volumes 1 + 2 of The Darkness Origins comic. If you want, I'd be willing to share.

Thanks. I'm not really into comics. And if I was going to read some, I should read some manga to practice my Japanese.

I really enjoyed the Darkness II for having a story and fleshed-out world/characters above and beyond most games (on top of solid gameplay).

If you ever end up getting that PS3, I'd recommend getting the first one then. It's dirt cheap by now and is also pretty good. And any DLC maps for the MP are free.

The tracker is still sort of hit-or-miss though. Like I'll get a batch of achievements picked up by the scanner and only some of them will get rewarded, even ones earned last. Then the next day, some of the missing rewards will be added even if they were earned earlier than the newest ones, if that makes any sense.

I've definitely had less tracking problems with them lately, at least. 18/23 of my Serious Sam rewards got tracked and got credit within a day. Hoping I can finish Swipecart and SR3 stuff in a few hours, making good progress so far.

My achievements have always been hit or miss too. Like I don't think I got credit for the SS treasure diving or whatever achievment.

Of all the SS rewards, I'm missing:

Backstabber

Capture the Flag Master

Look, it's a secret

Play SS: TFE HD for the first time

Play SS: TSE HD for the first time.

It gave me some of the achievement rewards for SS: TFE/TSE HD, but not the "first time" ones. On the bright side, I got all the other "play for the first time" and achievement rewards for all the other SS games besides SS 2 (which I don't have). 18/23 ain't bad.

Also, it didn't give me monies for the "Smash 250 things" achievement in Sweezy Gunner even though I earned it around the same time as the other two. It's just so inconsistent with the tracking that it's frustrating.

Yup, I'm also missing the Break it Down reward for Sweezy Gunner. Just goes to show how broken the Rewards Beta still is right now.

I'm missing about 12 rewards from the past three weeks so I sent an email to Playfire. Any wagers on how many rewards get added? (The easy bet would be zero, which wouldn't surprise me at all.)

Anyone wanna play Fistful of Frags? The second reward is super easy with two people on a private server.

I already got one of the single player rewards and am on my way towards the next, but I'm up a creek on the second reward unless someone wants to help out and get it too. BGCQ peeps just sit around all day and don't play games.

 
So Playfire just scanned my achievements again about an hour ago, and all the rewards I've earned since the last scan are already pending except for "Haters Gonna Hate". Looking good.

The Serious Sam stuff I'm missing isn't pending though, unfortunately. :whistle2:( Gotta add it to the list.

I've got 4/10 kills for Overweighted... That one is a bitch to get. Basically you need to get a sharps from a gold chest, stick to sniping, then grab a shotgun from the same gold chest once it respawns. Those two guns and maybe one other picked up from a drop will make you 100% overweight, and at that point just stay sniping and switch to shotgun if anyone comes at you from behind or close range.

Seriously, not an easy achievement. You can also just run all over the map grabbing every dropped gun you see and going for every chest, but it's hard staying alive that long anyways.

 
Lol, Steam's userbase never disappoints. Here's some global achievement ratios for Swipecart. Keep in mind, you can't get Event 1 Gems without both completing Event 1 and getting more than 15 gems.

Hmmm... Playfire isn't being as generous lately. It used to count games I've played before as being played for the first time :( I was also getting rewards for achievements I'd already gotten.

I've "played it" for 1 minute... Meaning I launched it for the last "play for the first time" reward Playfire gave for it. -_-

 
Finally got the Overweighted achievement! Not easy at all.

Now I just need the one to do with a Steam friend and I'm set. I'll be playing the crap out of Fistful of Frags from now on though... god I love this game. It's just a nonstop orgasm for the western nerd in me.

(Also, I thought about it, and Overweighted should be pretty easy to get in a private server. We'll get something going tomorrow and everyone can reap the sweet Playfire rewards.)

 
Man, Steam Cards are coming back to bite me in the ass. I doubt I got more than .50 for the cards I already mined from Rush Bros. Now I wish I'd waited and collected this fat reward.

Same here. At least I can try to get some of the achievements, but man would that have been an easy .50

I grabbed that an Millennium: A New Hope. Used the 20% off coupon for a total of $9.44. M:ANH has $1.60 in Playfire rewards, so I'm basically making a dollar from getting two games.

 
Jesus, of all the games to give so many rewards for. Do non-CAGs pay that much money for Rush Bros.? It's been in like 4 bundles.

This has to be a developer-approved thing.

Edit: Apparently even CAGs pay that much. :p

I'm surprised I wasn't the last person to get a copy of it considering how often it's bundled.

For free? That's nice of you. Where were you when I missed the first batch of Millennium rewards because Gala was taking forever giving out keys for it? :p

I imagine he probably has like $100 of GMG credit and just wanted to finally spend it on something.

The key I would've offered is from indie gala.. so I wouldn't have the key when you needed it anyway.

 
Well, I'm down for some Fistful of Frags achievement hunting.  And I too have an extra Millenium key that any of the GMG thread regs can have for free if they don't have the game.  

 
Yep, I bought both. Probably should have looked for bundles or something. I'd never heard of Rush Bros before, I don't think. Oh well--it's still a free dollar. And yeah, I bought it with rewards, so really the only downside is I could potentially miss a sale on something else while waiting for the new rewards.
