I don't think the 5Ghz on air warrants the price difference, the current Haswell processors still deliver good value for money and I am sure it can handle any games you throw at it.

It seems stupid, but it makes sense if you think about it...dark/demon souls are two different ip's, after all. If they're trying to capture the atmosphere/feel of demon's souls without it being a direct sequel, then it makes sense.

Plus I have a feeling labeling a sony exclusive as a spiritual successor to a past sony exclusive as opposed to a game that's been out on multiple platforms is likely also marketing related to an extent

I'll have a kb+m nearby, but am trying to pick a game to play from the sofa for the next few days and XCOM is my latest purchase.

 
Skyram Legendary is $19.99 at the ubishop.  Steamworks DRM, so you'll get a steam key.  DLC complaints in 3...2...

edit: it's getting cheaper, kinda doubt it will drop much below that during the upcoming sale.  But if you have waited this long, might as well wait for 75% off.

The only issue I've had using a controller as opposed to kb/m is getting the perfect angle/arc on a grenade toss. Other than that to me it plays the same.

There's no way to argue around "One per customer per app" - you might not technically be violating Amazon's TOS when you do that, but you are clearly violating the Promotion's TOS because you are then getting more than one promotion per customer per app. It's the same thing, cheating the system. You can't defend this and try to argue against the Playfire thing. They are the same thing. No one's judging you, just pointing out you are being hypocritical, which you are. It doesn't matter how you look at it or justify it, it's still the same thing.

With the extra 15% off, all of those are so close to my buy price. Origins + Season Pass comes to about $10.62. With all Playfire rewards it comes to $9.67.

Each of the LEGO games is about $6.38. With all Playfire rewards, LEGO The Movie comes to $5.43.

I'm a bit surprised LEGO The Hobbit doesn't get a return reward like some of the other games have had.

No, because I'm saying that those games are eligible for rewards... after you buy them. I know that's not entirely accurate because the earned rewards won't apply to the initial price of those games, but it's the kind of math that compulsive deal seekers often resort to in order to justify their purchases. ;)

Edit - some more fuel to the fire: all of that adds up to about $23 at checkout and you get .30 in GMG credit for the purchase.

I think what's ultimately going to kill the deal for me is that I have $14 in credit sitting there, mocking me.

It has an issue with forcing 60 fps, even on good computers, and it makes everything run in slow motion. The fix? Kicking the AI through a scripted smash sequence, pausing and un-pausing as quickly as you can. I don't understand why that works.

Yeah, have a foreign account on my 360 that got the game for free anyway. It's actually really good on 360, so I don't know what exactly they could have screwed up in the port aside from the controller which you can easily fix.

Echo isn't listed yet on igbwiki's Steam Keys Added, and on Greenlight h'aint yet been marked as Released or even Greenlit.

These DRM-free bundle games that end up on Steam always catch me by surprise. I just assume only the ones that come with Desura keys are also in Greenlight. Time to go back through the spreadsheet. Be Mine 12 also has another one by the same dev with no Desura key, Ilamentia (upvoted).

Stomping Land is Rust with dinosaurs, which is to say your biggest threat is still other players. I'm kind of tired of survival games that are more about surviving other players with more time on their hand than the environment itself. 7 Days to Die seems to do this better than others, and The Forest should do it well since it isn't even mp.
