Wouldn't it be funny if the narc was a regular here and when they reported people they received the ill-gotten credits from said pierats banned Playfire accounts.

It'd be funny, right?

Looks like a future Bundle Stars sim game... or am I missing something?
Eh... doubt that. They're stingy about details, it's basically the best off-road game ever released. Very good reviews for what it is.

It will get cheaper though. Could be bundled, but I have doubts that will happen any time soon.

So I got a reply from Playfire this morning.

Basically, they ignored the whole "What activity was deemed suspicious?" question and said two things.

1) That they came to this decision by manually investigating my account after a user report

2) That they reviewed it again and were standing by their initial decision.

And thus ends Bobby's Playfire Adventure.

It was a decent run. Honestly, with the transformation in the program, I wouldn't be that upset over being banned if I had been able to cash out my previously earned credit. So I'll just have to cope with losing out on a decent amount of pierat bux.

Best of luck to the rest of you, try and spend your credit at the earliest possible instance and be careful, you never know who's watching.

I thought I had Deponia and Reversion. Go to fire them up for bux and.... not there. Apparently the backlog is now taxing the limits of my retention. Oh well. :joystick:
If you bought the Started 2014 Like a Boss bundle from Lazy Guys, they emailed out the key to the second chapter today.

GMG "deals" (hadn't seen any posted in awhile:

Bunch of Company of Heroes stuff 50% off

TW: Rome II stuff 50% off

Crappy looking probably casual games 75% off (ATV Fever, ATV Quad Kings, Deer Hunt Legends, Drip Drip, Warlords III, Zoo Empire)

Capitalism 2--$2.48 (75% off)

Hotel Giant--$2.49 (75% off)

Micy Roll--$0.99 (whatever % off)

Restaurant Empire--$2.48 (75% off)

Restaurant Empire 2--$4.98 (75% off)  (If you are really going to buy one of the RE's, RE2 has the scenarios from 1 plus a new campaign and play felt the same, the MSRP is stupid though)

Men of War series 75% off

Kings Bounty games 75% off

Oh, RC Cars for $1.24

And some other stuff I couldn't care enough about to post, so there is the very very lazy list as of right now. No idea why Hotel Giant 1 is on sale but not 2, unless they don't sell 2? Oh and as said why RE 2 MSRP is $19.95 I really don't understand, it was good but not $5.00 good unless your really into that type of game.

GMG doesn't seem to put as much stuff on sale.  Almost certainly its because of the Playfire credits, which is why they just give out discount codes that don't stack with the credit.  If they put it on sale, we'd be able to use the credits.  Effectively, they're devaluing our GMG credits, because we'll end up using them on full priced games.

GMG sales in general have gone down a good value for me. They are chincy with coupons working with rewards and mainly they are a great place to pre-order but some of their other sales have been lackluster. All I know is I killed off some credit for a game and yeah...that's about my only GMG action this year other than a Dark Souls 2 pre-order.

I played the first so long ago I don't remember much of it and absolution recently. Do the older games still hold up? Would any of them be worth getting?
The sale's over now but I think Blood Money is regarded as the best of the Hitman titles before Absolution.

I have it but haven't played any of it as yet.

Madjoki, your Playfire tool is broken. It says I don't own any games that have rewards right now. That can't be true, I have over 1000 games. Please fix this ASAP.  :whistle2:x

;)

Thanks. I actually picked that one up before it ended. Maybe I'll just run through them all in reverse.

Didn't see this question til today (thus pointless response but oh well), I think Contracts and Blood Money should hold up, I'd suspect SA would but it's been too long since I've played it. Codename 47 and SA have some wonky ragdoll psychics imo but don't really detract (in some cases it's kind of fun that way), Codename 47 lacks a lot of what the newer games added, I thought Chinatown area was good but never got farther then that.

SA is the hardest pre-absolution in my opinion, you don't have super guards like absolution but hanging around them for a bit too long, running, etc. gets them suspicious pretty quickly. Level design probably isn't the best, there were a few I liked though. One area really really sucks though, barely got through a couple of the missions and had to skip one it was such a PITA.

Contracts is mostly a re-release of the first but with the newer stuff added and I'm guessing they took a few levels out. I really liked Contracts, to me it was the best blend of difficulty and levels. It isn't as hard as SA but harder then BM, liked most of the levels better then SA, but I thought the Chinatown levels were worse then in Codename 47 which was a bummer.

Blood Money is everyone's favorite, it has the best levels in all of the games and the accident system was a good addition. I thought the difficulty was pretty easy though (btw all my difficulty comments are based on normal difficulty). Still probably the one I've played the most, because I love the levels, even if the difficulty annoys me.

I don't own any of the older games on PC, so not sure if there may be issues there but BM should easily hold up, Contracts I think should as well but been a few years since I played. SA might, been even longer since I played it so not positive.

Robot Rescue Revolution and Tales of Adventure 2 were both given out free, but that's all I have of the new batch.

Also, I'm not sure how motivated I am by all of these .10 rewards. What really held my attention previously was the pursuit of the .50 and .25 rewards, filling in with .10s when the opportunity arose.

I have about $8 pf credits. Maybe I'll grab Blood omen 2 (to complete the collection, still missing Blood omen 1, I liked that game), project snowblind and mini ninjas (for the kids).

I'm wondering if I should pick up Dungeon Siege 3. I know a lot of people who've played the first two hate it but I haven't so I really don't care if the 3rd game is nothing like the first two. I enjoyed my time with the new Tomb Raider and Hitman games even though I didn't play their "originals" either.

Yes, buy DS3. It's like a dungeon-y Marvel Ultimate Alliance and is multiplayer (local and online) and it's really fun. Don't listen to the haters who just whine because it's different than 1 and 2.

I'm looking at Lara Croft TGOL and was wondering if there is online co-op with friends?  I don't want to play TGOL solo but since I have 5 playfire bucks remaining and the game is 2.49 I wanted to get it for a friend and I.

Yes, it has online co-op.

The co-op is the main focus of the game. Singleplayer is pretty boring and only worth playing to get all of the collectibles easier.

So you're saying....

a ninja spoder'd his life?

No offense to Carnival's zombie, but I think Spoderman has a kickass new ninja costume to wear for the month of October.

I'm gonna be slutty sexy cat for Halloween. That way, I won't have to change my avatar.
