Anyone play Aarklash: legacy and recommend it?
I asked earlier but got crickets. Negative Steam reviews make it sound like a shorter crappier version of Dragon Age Origins. Krugz is only selling it $1 cheaper. I think I'll wait for it to be bundled (and then never play it).

Anyone play Aarklash: legacy and recommend it? It looks like a type of game I would enjoy though maybe not at the price it's at right now. If I remember right it was $3 somethings in the GOG.com Summer Sale.
Nope, $6.29.

Looks good, I may grab it, but I have so many untouched ARPGs...

Would love Qube if open to non donators. Thanks again for the giveaways Squatch, really awesome of you!

I have too many unplayed ARPGs as well....I mean I spodered a BorderZone key...and that looks like the most amazing game ever. I probably should start with Borderzone to get some Steam cards and make any other ARPG or other game in general look amazing.

It must be said that this new En Masse (Tera pub) game Zombies Monsters Robots is fucking addicting.

It's your typical BUY EVERYTHING WITH REAL MONEY kinda MMO thing (even though it's not an MMO, it's a TPS), but I haven't spent a dime and I'm having a blast... Tons of modes, from wave based PvE Killing Floor style, to objective based PvE missions, standard PvP, and even some "Mercs vs Monsters" game where one team is monsters and one is humans, and you rack up points by killing the other team, then you spend those points to spawn as bigger and badder characters, like a mech with a huge shield and rockets on the human side, or a fucking hellspawn demon thing that destroys everything, etc...

It's just really fun. That's all I have to say.

I'll take:

Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - Collector's Edition [retail box].

And thanks. ;)
Sweet!

Comes w/ Diablo 4 beta test key, too! ;)
Toasters are colorblind, hence they can't YCS correctly.

Okay, no one asked for these, so they are now available for all! Keep them out of the hands of lurkers! Lurking and want a game? Sign up, silly! Will have a new list of games as soon as I grab a beer and start some music and change out of this spacesuit! Plenty of time for some of you folks to donate to the Seattle Children's Hospital and get on the list before these fresh games drop!
^_^ I might as well attempt to spoder MacGuffin's curse. Thanks!

I'd like to spoder Blahnik Dews if you still have it!

I'll take any of your Desura stuff. I don't think I have any of them. Surprise me. :whee:

Holy crap were you guys right about Marlow Briggs!

I wanted a shortish game to play after beating Sleeping Dogs.  Played it for 1.5 hours tonight & was smiling pretty much the whole time.  It's goofy, mindless non-stop action with remarkably little filler (so far).

I am pretty critical of games & usually find a few things to dislike even if I love a game overall.  But, honestly, the only thing that bothered me was having to mash the B button to open doors (a hold-over from games like God of War that I've never liked & find irritating).

It's certainly not breaking any new ground or anything.. but it's quite good at emulating the AAA games it's lifting ideas and inspiration from.

Oh and I don't review games, but Goat Simulator is a pile of dogshit. Not funny, not well done, just lame.
It's certainly not for everyone. If your funnybone has been removed or if you have low tolerance for silliness then it may not click with you.

I laughed at it a bit. Keep in mind that it is mostly intentionally bad... right down the the PRESS THE ANY KEY that greets you upon startup.

Aww yeah, heres my new fave game

Despite what the cartwheel coupon (and some people) say, the 15% off works on steam wallet cards, it worked for me automatically. If any of you are going to Target tonight to pick up some groceries or something, you can grab a card or two.

I really enjoyed it too, especially the dialogue. Even when you die, can't help but laugh when the mask makes fun of you. The QTEs can be a little annoying, but the mini-games [customspoiler='spoiler'] the flying ones! [/customspoiler] give a refreshing change of pace from the main action.

Mind if I snag Sword of the Stars? Thanks again, Doctor.

Well hell, I'll take Inescapable and Crazy Machines 2.

Pardon my french.

I guess they follow the, "If we make it shyte on purpose, it'll actually be really good." philosophy of game design. But what is fun about glitches is that they're unintentional. When they're the centerpiece they lose their novelty very quickly...But I guess those buying it already know what they're getting so, if you enjoy it then go for it.

Here's the thing about GS, it wasn't created with the intention of being sold or being serious. It was made in a game jam and then people saw it and wanted it released so they worked to release it. It wasn't made to be shitty or glitchy on purpose, it's just the product of it starting as a rough game jam and then having to convert that to something resembling a full game.

Most of the glitches aren't intentional, just a product of that and they try to fix them when they can and have fixed a lot, it's just that certain ones are sort of impossible to fix outside of redoing the game entirely from scratch again.

Dang. I never knew that

Hmm I wonder what the next squatch donor exclusives will be. Remember if you don't want me having a chnace to take it before it can ever get to your grubby paws you better donate to doc squatch. Or the one you hope makes it to the non donor level will just vanish to my pm box. Mmmwwwwhhhaa.

Sweeetja spodering for a cause

I guess if I had been in on the joke before buying it (with fake money) I would have found it funnier.

There are plenty of 5 dollar games that are lots of fun. This one, not so much.

I paid $8 for it release week with fake money and put 12 hours into GS the day of release. So I definitely enjoyed it, but it's definitely not for everyone.

re: Goat sim

I freely admit this is my superficial opinion based on what I've read/seen/heard but it seems like stupid cheap fun for something that was just some guys fooling around. I'll probably grab it someday when it's super cheap.

However this grass, tree, mountain, water, rock, air sim shit needs to stop. It's not funny anymore and those 'games' look lame as hell and not even amusing.

Dammit! I wanted that Turtle game. Bait and switch!
