Nope, comes to us from the great state of Canada. It is on Netflix though (I think, or it used to be). It's a TV show that looks homemade in it's presentation, and is pretty funny. Some movies made as well.

I was just looking at the thread for the Target ad for Sunday. I am surprised that the Xbox One already is having deals like a $50 gift card with purchase to try and move them (especially after the removal of Kinect and the price drop).

I was even more surprised that this softball was not knocked out of the park by someone in that thread...

I'm hoping it can finally talk my brother-in-law into The Bone.

I've seen (I think) every episode and movie, it's one of my favorites.

No, never seen Kenny vs Spenny, but I think I've heard people mention it. I've just never seen anywhere to watch it other than youtube.

I got the first 2 seasons of Kenny vs Spenny on DVD. If you can check it out its worth watching some funny pranks.

I need to watch more Trailer Park Boys and watch the movie.

Ah, since none of you jerks answered, I did some research. You can turn off the on-screen chat and that gets rid of the border when streaming. Then I guess you have to use your smartphone or whatever to see the chat. I wish it had an option to show the chat on my screen, but not include it in the stream.

I actually have not tried that one yet.. Looking at the "rules" and looking at the cards it seems kind of iffy. Kind of a joke game, but again I haven't really tried it yet.

Yeah I'm betting its better to pass on it. If I need a joke and laughter game I have Cards Against Humanity.

It's from Plaid Hat Games who also did Summoner Wars, a fun 1v1 card/board game.

And I'll recommend Watch It Played if you want to see some game playthroughs and rule explanations. The best part is it doesn't have any Wil Wheaton like the TableTop series does.

 
Ok fine. I'll take an extra PS3 Destiny Beta code if anyone has one. It will probably be impossible to try to talk to you assholes this weekend without one.

Don't play it but wow. Thanks for mentioning Cards Against Humanity. I had no idea what it was, but I got a free House of Cards pack in the mail a while back and I just looked at them on eBay!

I have been out-gunned. Appreciate the response and as always will heed some of its advice. i enjoy it here and feel like I helped foster what it's become. I like a lot of things. Doesn't mean I can't recognize the bad with the good.

People are quick to say I'm snarky too. And it's true, but I have limits. I keep trying to make that distinction. Not trying to be a killjoy but there is a time and place. If I see you having a discussion with someone I don't jump in with a joke hoping to subvert your position. That's lame. You don't see me saying, "don't listen to captain, he only plays for trophies" whenever he's discussing something. Or "don't listen to laundrymatt, he's the thread's latest sycophant" when he posts. I could take those shots, among others, but I don't do it.

I don't call people idiots. And saying you sip kool aid is tame by comparison. Not even close. Dude even mentioned me playing games with my pops, something that actually means a lot to me, and something I didn't have to share with you all. Like, how is all that warranted? Stereotypes of all sorts exist, it doesn't mean we need to throw them out. No animus behind my words, but clearly others have their own agenda. Thanks again for the words.

Yeah, not sure where I seen it, either the free stuff forum here, or SD. Had no clue what they were, I've just had them sitting on my bookcase. I enjoyed HoC so I figured why not? And haha, I have no problem giving stuff out, even when I could save them up and sell them (like the XBOX monies), but man...it looks like a guaranteed $50, with possibilities of $100+? Sorry man, that can buy a lot of Oreo's.

I post what I want to post, and respond to what I want to respond to. I disagree about tons of stuff, with numerous people. I don't get all bent out of shape about it and kick someone's lego fort down because of it.

Yeah no worries man, I wouldn't expect you to nor would I be able to in good conscience without some form of reciprocation on my part. Refuse to pay those kinds of prices for those tiny packs. Its a shame they never sell those promo packs on their website. I can understand why they do it, I'm just not a fan. I want to throw money at them, not exorbitant resellers.

I share your concerns, man. With both software and hardware. I'm not above admitting the 3DS reminds me of baby's first iPad. The screen resolution is horrendous. And I wish they'd give Star Fox the proper treatment it deserves. I'm only saying they do what they do because it makes them money, lol. Lots of it. The crash of the 80s has forever molded how they conduct business. They singlehandedly revived the industry with their prude and conservative tactics. In a lot of ways they're like Disney.

As far as the 'diversity', I think they don't get enough credit. Aside from NSMB, a lot of the entries in their marquee franchises are pretty varied. Mario Sunshine and Galaxy could be totally different games, for instance. I'm guessing slapping a known IP on them strengthens the brand in their minds. It'd be nice to see more mature-themed things but they've got an absolute lock/monopoly on the family/children's market.

I don't at all think you're a sycophant, man. Just as I'm open-minded enough to understand someone like captain enjoys more than trophies. My point is that anything can be misconstrued and twisted against someone.

Despite whatever differences we may have in our approach, I respect your input. It's no secret you virtually agree with everything the old heads say. I could make assumptions but I'm less interested in writing you off than I am in getting to know you for myself. I just wish people would afford me the same instead of assuming I ONLY like to argue.

And for the record I'm not denying I post things that I know some people may disagree with. It's hardly the leap some people make it out to be, though. Yes, I'm willing to debate (about everything). But I genuinely believe what I post and it's not meant to be disruptive. Just as I'm sure you're not simply 'liking' and agreeing with everything to kiss ass.

He escalated the LEGO thing. Again, those games are absolutely terrible to me but it's nothing against him. He's mentioned enjoying them before and I never rained on his parade. But if we're recommending someone vita games it seems fair that I should be able to speak my mind. Especially when he mentions Tearaway in the same breath. It's a FORUM. If someone recommended AMY to a new PS3 owner I'd expect no less. Hell, any game, even ones most people like aren't exempt.

Having said that, this PS4 port of Pinball Arcade has some issues. The sound quality is *terrible*. Allegedly that will get fixed in the next patch, though. Also some of the games have some issues like Gorgar - the pop bumpers are always lit, but they shouldn't be.

Apparently the reason we don't have season 2 yet is because it is a huge effort to add in the dynamic lighting that the PS4 version has, but they are working on it. We'll get season 2 eventually.

No trophies on either of the 2 tables out now on PS4, but someone on PS Trophies says they emailed FarSight and got this response:

"Hi there!


Since we have a limited amount of Trophies we can release, we're examining our options for Trophies. Right now it looks like we'll release a batch of trophies for Season 2 and Season 3 once they're entirely released on PS4."

As for Season 2 on PS4, we discussed it already but it sounds like FarSight signed a deal with MS for one month of exclusivity on Season 2 on the Xbone. Since it will probably never actually come out on Xbone, it's going to be "Never + 1 month" til PS4 gets it. I highly doubt it's just "dynamic lighting" that's holding up the release.

I ordered a screen protector for it, am getting PS + later this week for it, am going to use the case from Persona Q for it and ordered a Rayman (I love Rayman) game yesterday. Going to order some more games for it later.

1. The PS Blog post about Metrico says there will be a demo.

2. On the PS4, right when you set up the stream, there are like 3 option boxes at the top. One of them specifically says "Show comments/blah/whatever" on my screen. Uncheck that. I know that must have been really easy to miss...
