I'm good for either day, just not too early (not before noon please and thanks)

Awww, sorry about that, it was just easy since we were already playing another game and it came up in discussion. And we generally play around the same times. Every time I seen you on you were playing Ratchet or that Nerkum Terror game. I'll definitely play it with you if you're up for it, but it's frustrating at times trying to match up with one another.
its cool. If you guys got all you needed I dont need to waste your time. I am going to be on playing some game at the times I play just message me on psn or here if you want to play. It doesnt matter to me. You know its me if it isnt Toy Story in the middle of the day.

If you want the trophies too though, it doesn't matter if we got it. Will still help you get them, as they are a pain in the ass if you try and actually win 50 online games in 2 different sessions. So it's all a matter of do you want them? If you don't have the game on your card yet, it's honestly not worth it unless you just really like NBA Jam. But again, it doesn't matter if you do or don't, I'll help you get the trophies if you want and I'm sure Bums would too.

TJ&E is one of my fav sega games of all time, I could go on and on about it but I really dont feel like typing much right now. For your original question presents do remain known once you open each box type or pay the carrot man to tell you what's inside. However, there is also a present called randomized that will reset all presents to ??? and shuffle the items so memory of their contents doesn't matter. This could be a good thing if you have nothing but shitty items in your inventory but usually you want to avoid it. There's several other negative effect press ts as well, such as bees, or a storm cloud that follows you drains your life (hop in the water to avoid the lightning).
I really have no clue what you just said and it only makes my hatred for TJE grow. Presents? WTF?

I did play it and now I see a bunch of rare trophies on psnprofiles. If your on tonight Ill hit you up.

Which Bioshock is everyone's favorite? I loved 1, and really couldnt get into 2 and quit midway through as I got frustraed with a boss. Is Infinite the best one?
1 - Best atmosphere and world building

2 - Best gameplay

Infinite - Best narrative

All three are great, though I have to leverage serious criticism over Infinite's gameplay, which is why it ranks last for me.

Honestly, there are upsides and downsides to each Bioshock game. In terms of world, universe, and concept, the series can easily stand on it's own with any other series out there. Definitely my favorite of all time.

Sounds good, I need to for sure. There's only 2 days left on the session and we stopped with Bums at the 25 win cap and me at 16 wins. So I need to get 9 more before the new session starts. It actually would be easier with more of us on at the same time, as it would increase the odds of getting matched up with each other instead of someone else. But with 3 people, one will be aimlessly searching when the other 2 get matched up and they dont know it (games only take like a minute each, and you have to search for a match up again).

We found that really the best/only way to help the chances of matching up, are to search on the :30 or :00 mark on the session timer, that way we're both looking for a match at the exact same time. It's still a toss up, but works OK. You'll see what I'm talking about when you play, as this may not make much sense now lol.

yeah so I got the Resonance of Fate Platinum. like 95 hours. So awesome.

I really enjoyed the gameplay and plot. The plot was so much better the 2nd time and thank you profstotch for the link so I could understand what the story was. I thought it was pretty awesome on par with Xenogears almost with plot and crazy badguys, etc.

n yeah im in that bioshock 2 boostn chat and there are still 6+ people in there. probly gonna keep going for awhile. None of you cags tho. peace guys.

You're playing right now?

So I have a question since I just started Infinite and a lot of you guys are boosting Bioshock 2 (unbelievably other people still play it and dont boost?!?).

Which Bioshock is everyone's favorite? I loved 1, and really couldnt get into 2 and quit midway through as I got frustraed with a boss. Is Infinite the best one?
#1, by far. It is one of my all time favorite games. 2 improved upon the gameplay a little bit, but lost in so many other areas that it was a little bit of a letdown. #3 was still fun, and I dug the story/ending, but the level design and gameplay was disappointing.

1 - Best atmosphere and world building

2 - Best gameplay

Infinite - Best narrative

All three are great, though I have to leverage serious criticism over Infinite's gameplay, which is why it ranks last for me.
Nice list, though I would say #1 had the best narrative as well.

Thanks guys.  You all confirmed what I thought and I will just run through the SP on easy to see and hear the story/narrative.  And get as many other misc trophies as I can.  I wont bother with the harder 1999 etc modes.
This guy, right here. My buddy and I are going to be living in it, filling our third fireteam spot with whoever wants in.
Maybe I'll preorder it. Not 100% sure yet. It pains me to pay that much for a FPS. I do get 20% off at best buy, but it's still a lot of money....

Did you see Flash Point had to change its xpac name? Knew that was coming.
Sure did. Annoying but I didn't love the name so it's alright.

Yeah I read up a little more about it. I may still give it some time. But the slow walking is driving me nuts. And that randomizer fuck ing sucks!

http://m.neogaf.com/showthread.php?t=858508

did we already shoot the shit about this 150 vita game post on neogaf? I don't think I've heard of 130 of them.
Nice list. I think a few of those are dead in the water though (Fieldrunners 2 and Munch's Odyssee come to mind) and lots of Japanese games, but still lots of games I'd be interested in playing. All with shared trophy lists with their PS4 counterparts, no doubt. fuck ing Sony.

A bunch of those are PC ports, but I'm always happy to see more Vita games regardless of if they're "new" or not, especially if it means more people will play awesome things like The Swapper.

Does that Home game have anything to do with Lone Survivor?
You can consider it Lone Survivor's less ambitious, uglier older cousin.

Nice list, though I would say #1 had the best narrative as well.
It's a close call for me, but I guess I put Infinite ahead of 1 because it front loads its narrative as opposed to hiding much of it away in audio diaries. I also far prefer the end of Infinite (1 should have ended after the twist honestly).

Definitely interested in Liege, Cosmic Star Heroine, Freedom Wars, Firefly Diary, Citizens of Earth, King of Dragon Pass, Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, Pavilion, Rainbow Skies, Teslagrad, Tetris, Binding of Issac,  Natural Doctrine, Tales of Hearts, La Muluna, Earthnight( looks crazy,) Dragon Fin Soup, Chainsaw Incident...fuck it I am interested in about 80-90% of that list.

Dude, arent you guys trying to get to level 50 or something? And you and Bum played 5 hours straight today (and tons of other days prior) and only in the 30s still? Sorry man, I aint gots the time for that. And I dont own Bioshock 2. I think I had it on disc.
Wren, didn't we get BioShock 2 via PSPlus? If you got rid of your physical, check psn to see if you own it.

Started Hitman 2 today after I beat Crysis. Not ready to write it off just yet, but it's not likely that I'll finish it.

If I don't like it, is there any reason for me to try Contacts or Blood Money? I have Absolution too, but I've heard it's a good bit different.

I know all the cool people say the first be is best, but I definitely say Infinite. The dank dreary Rapture environment got old for me. I also liked what tears and rail lines added to the gameplay.

Spent a couple hours going through my transaction history on PSN and putting the games in a spreadsheet (there were some games I had completely forgotten I got free with PS+ like DmC). If you go to purchase history instead of download list it tells you which games are PS+ games by listing an expiration date, though it doesn't always list which system it is for so you have to alternate between it and the download list . In the process I got annoyed all over again by the amount of PS+ games which are the vita/PS4 version only that I would like to play on the PS3 (Strider, Stranger's Wrath, etc.), damn you lack of crossbuy.

Hitman 1 was a buggy mess, Hitman 2 was an incremental step forward, but the series really came into its own with Blood Money and Contracts. I would recommend stopping Hitman 2 if you are not enjoying it and jump to the next in the series, Blood Money. At Blood Money is when they get much better in providing many different methods to tackle completing the level as well as more memorable environments (murder at Mardi Gras, an opera, a hell and heaven-themed party, a pornographer's Christmas party, etc.). If you don't enjoy Blood Money then skip Contracts (as it is more of the same) and try Absolution, it cuts the action into smaller pieces (one mission is spread over several smaller levels) and there is a bit more emphasis on shooting. What is it you are not enjoying about it?

I think it's the controls more than anything. I'm having trouble sneaking up on guys too; 47 is just so slow when in sneak mode that they usually turn around just as I'm getting ready to kill them.

If I remember right, the missions are in a lot fewer public places in Silent Assassin (I haven't played it since it came out for the PS2). In most every level in Blood Money you can make use of disguises to give you a little more margin of error when hunting your target or you can play malevolent trickster and set up all manner of deadly traps for your targets to wander into. One of my favorites in Blood Money is sneaking into the dressing room during the opera rehearsal and swapping out a prop gun for a real gun so some actor patsy does the deed for you.

Yeah, that sounds like much more fun. I'll try and give Silent Assassin a little more time. I'm only on mission 3.

also thanks Simmias for telling me to play RoF or I would have had it in backlog forever and may have missed it.

CoD clanwar 4 hours. 1st place cmon.

Did you leave off Hyper Lifght Drifter on purpose?

Alright, I set up the Bioshock session for the same time (3 p.m. EST) on Sunday instead of Saturday. Everyone has to join the new one, though, because sometimes TrueTrophies is stupid with stuff, like letting you edit existing sessions.

Here's the link: http://www.truetrophies.com/gamingsession.aspx?gamingsessionid=1725
Simmias is bringing the thread closer, one painfully slow level grind at a time. I hope this continues with some other games as well in the future.

Looking at a walkthrough is bringing back a few more memories, Silent Assassin is more in the vein of metal gear solid, infiltrating mostly remote, heavily armed and fortified locations whereas Blood Money is more about striking when the target is more exposed, at parties and other public functions. I never noticed before how many Blood Money missions take place during a party or some other entertainment event, 9 of the 13 missions.

hows the game??
I played it for a few hrs on tuesday, Its good, kinda hard though. it has online co-op in it, get it so we can get some trophies in it. The art style in it is fantastic.

Ace Team already patched the pc version and they have a new difficulty mode and stuff, they said they weren't sure if consoles would get the updates though ;/

My top 5 True Trohpies games are Velocity Ultra, Dokuro, Smart As, Guacamelee, Resogun. I'm pretty sure all 5 of those have been free in at least one region.
My Top 5 games are all on Vita: Sonic Racing Transformed, Velocity Ultra, Rayman Legends, Unit 13, and Gravity Rush. Only one of those has yet to be free. :joystick:

Baseball.

I have to really like the gameplay to play the harder difficulties in any game. The gameplay is just okay in Infinite as many here have said and I have read on other sites. Its the story and atmosphere that keeps someone like me playing.

We have also gone over this before. I dont like to bang my head against a wall getting stuck in a game I dont really love. I wouldnt even be playing it if we didnt get it free on plus.

Made it to Level 18 on the Fixed world in TJ&E and then I died, also used online maps so I wasn't wandering aimlessly for hours.  I can't imagine playing the randomly generated worlds because the maps for each level are really big and both characters are just too slow.

It's one of those games where if I was stranded on a desert island and it was the only game I had access to, I'd probably take the time to become a TJ&E master.  But with so many other games in my backlog, I just can't justify spending the time on it.

Also that Boogie Man is fuck ing bullshit.  He is way too fast.  Throwing tomatoes is really just a pain in the ass too.

I did get all the bronze trophies during my playthrough at least.

Also, my top 5 games are:

Dead Nation

Just Cause 2

Sleeping Dogs

LA Noire

Burnout Paradise

Dead Nation is by far my best at 3130 points and Just Cause 2 sitting at 2409.

Did anyone here buy Soul Sacrifice Delta? I am wondering how much more content it has.
i remember writing out a long post about it, but i guess nobody liked it cause i can't find it now. if i had to put a number on it, i'd say at least 50% more. there are so many more improvements than just extra content though. everything has been balanced, including the ai. there's the ability to create your own pacts(in a limited fashion) and a multi-level dungeon.

1 lightning returns

2 plants vs zombies vita

3 soul sacrifice

4 final fantasy 13-2

5 madden 13 vita

my tt top 5. soul sac isn't even a plat either.
