My fault sorry, I ready the question wrong from the beginning. I thought that you said if you deactivate but if your friend deactivate from qriocity you will keep those game and the PS plus games just like in PS3. I am pretty sure that you can play online too.
 
Since the 1st group filled up quick, I'll host a second group. However, I want to do it without PS3 phantoms for the sake of speeding up/simplifying the process for everyone else. The cost (2.26) would be evenly distributed among the three resells and one phantom. If anyone is interested, just add your name.

So posting twice is excessive? And actually 1 was just a update because Twitch was acting up. I figured being the active community member that I am and always have been, people would want to check out some streams. It's all good though.

 
5 times in 48 hours is a little excessive, yeah. that's just my two cents tho. no harm done. not hating on you, just don't want it to turn into an albasha-like situation

Beauuuuuuuuuutiful. Pravado, are you interested in hosting? I've hosted groups before but not on a cross-buy title. Not really familiar with the process.

I can fund the account but I have 0 idea how to do ps4 phantoms. If someone else can, let me know, otherwise i'll start asking around how to.

resell can log back into the account and redownload as many times as they want, and sell the share when they're done with it

phantom has to keep the game/user on their system forever or they lose the game, can't sell when done, can't redownload

That seems simple enough.

From the account ownership perspective...is it normal practice to create a new account and add a single game to it, then share that account? That's the impression I'm getting for how this would be controlled on a per-game level (except for somebody sharing a larger account for a higher amount, which some posts seem to indicate), but I want to confirm as having dozens of accounts with one game each seems counter-intuitive and I'm not even sure how that works unless you also create an email address for each account to tie to.

Yes, you are correct. Most of the time it is new accounts having 1 game purchased on them and split among 4 people using the 2 phantom 2 resell method of Resells 1/3rd the price, phantoms 1/6th the price.

yes, you use a new user/pass for each game you make. your ps3 can have 16 users at a time, after that you have to start deleting. larger accounts are generally the other resell slot/phantoms of their main account. two resells/two phantoms per ps3 account, one resell/one phantom per ps4 account

Damn, did it bother you that bad, that you had to look at my posts? Not trying to be a dick, but posting 5 times in 2 days to let people check out some gaming seems totally harmless. Always has to be 1 in the crowd though. In any event, I'm done with it. I'll let you continue with whatever it is you do.

 
So then for phantoms since you are restricted to downloading once and then you're done, how does that work? I'm guessing that deleting an account does not delete the downloaded games that were tied to that account. With that in mind, is this the correct sequence?

1. Buyer sends seller money (good first step)

2. Seller gives buyer account info.

  2a. If buyer is a phantom and there are already two active accounts, buyer de-activates their own account if necessary.

3. Buyer downloads game.

4. Buyer tells seller he has the game and deactivates account.

5. Seller changes account password.

  5a. If buyer was a phantom and the account is shared, seller messages new password to shared account owner.

  5b. If seller is-reselling, seller de-activates their own account, and buyer changes the account password.

6. Profit.

Is my understanding on how this works correct? The details aren't really spelled out in the faq.

If you're a phantom, don't delete the account until you're done with the game. The game would stay on your console, but the license to play it would be removed if you delete the account.

Its not really about him trying to be an ass, or being "1 in the crowd". All in all he was fairly polite going about telling you to knock it off. If it were me who had said something I would have said exactly that. Knock it off.

Its also not about it being harmless. Anything on this forum is going to be harmless, unless someone has devised a way to make words on a screen gauge peoples eyes out.

Its just about the reduction of clutter. The board is for gamesharing, and while I welcome and am generally fine with the occasional off topic post, posting 2 or 3 times a day about your twitch feed is a little bit much. It clogs the forum and pushes back other peoples posts that actually pertain to gamesharing. If everybody posted an off topic post twice a day it would be impossible to find the gameshares mixed in.

He wasn't trying to be a dick. And actually, he is just the one who spoke up.. Im willing to bet there are quite a few other regulars who noticed it, including myself.

I was taking that to mean that after the download has completed that you lose access to the account. Is what happens instead, then, that the owner changes the password, the downloader cannot log in to PSN store etc on that account, but the local PS3 retains the record and as a result has free access to games already downloaded?

If this isn't the case, then how is it that you lose access to the game? With the limitation of two active systems per account, de-activating the PS3 seems necessary to have 4 people (for example, quoting what was stated earlier) sharing a game when an account can only be active on two systems.

Edit: Or is there some implied responsibility that when you phantom you'll be finished with the game in some reasonable amount of time instead of backlogging it for years?
