I think I like vig more now that everyone broke from the vag nickname. His only downfall is his hatred for sports. I'm still somewhat new around here, so being in the middle tier is great. If I made a list, everyone would be #1 :)
I guess my downfall is I don't give 2 shits about sports. If I watch any game it's gonna be live at the stadium. Lots of my friends are hardcore sports fans so if I'm at their house I bring some excitement. I was watching a Dodger game vs the Philly's when the Dodgers had a chance to make it to the World Series. Well let's say when you're at a house full of Dodger fans and cheer for the Philly's the look at on their faces is classic. One guy said who the fuck invited this guy. Then when the Dodgers lost the game some people blamed me. I laughed at them and said I'm glad they lost just to stick the knife in deeper.

Dodgers are overrated

And their stadium sucks

My brother and I were just talking about this. He said that he doesn't trust any guy who hates sports and I agree. I don't really care about sports but there's a difference between not caring and hating because I have no problem watching them. I just don't follow them very closely.

You could say the same thing about trophies.

With the way some Dodgers fans are, surprised you made it out alive.

At least you love good music. When I first started posting I think you were involved in a good discussion of beer and Pink Floyd.

Yeah I just like being there watching it live. Watching it on TV is such a bore to me. I don't go out of my way to watch them or keep up to date on all the stats and who hot in the MLB, NBA, NFL or NHL. It just cracks me up when some people take so serious like they want to hurt somebody if their team loses.

I like cheering for the underdog which upsets people since they know I'm not serious about sports.

I love sports, especially football but I never get mad at people or blame people cheering for other teams when my team loses. Too many people take shit too far. So I am glad you stick it to them but you better be careful you may get hurt.

The only thing I hate is that I live in Tampa, FL and every other person roots for other teams and then talks shit about how bad fans are here in FL because we dont show up to baseball games in the shittiest stadium in the shittiest area in St Pete. Of course we dont show up when half the people living here dont like the hometown team and the other half are scared to travel an hour each way to watch a game in the ghetto.

Do you ever try watching the NCAA basketball tournament. That is easily the most exciting sports event that you don't need to know anything about the teams/players/sport.

My first love in Sports is UK basketball, I literally take off the first to days of The Tournament every year. Greatest two days of sports all year long.

College basketball is easily my #2 after NFL...NBA though, that's just a circus show
NBA is a joke. No defense minus a couple of teams like the Spurs, dont really try until the playoffs, and too top loaded where only 2-3 teams really have any hope of winning the title.

Oh and the tanking is stupid as well and the NBA wont do a damn thing to stop it.

That is a very fucked up story. If you talk to Dodger fans they say he shouldn't be there talking shit about their team. Do you think Dodger fans go to Candlestick Park and don't talk shit? It's bullshit and I felt bad for Stow and his family. Those guys deserve to never see the daylight again and are scumbag pussies.

Pretty sad when you can't enjoy a baseball game and cheer for the other team.

It always seems Dodger and Raider fans are always looking for trouble. I know there are fans of either team that want to just cheer but they got a lot of fans that are just troublemakers.

Nah...KU is my team...been picking them every year my whole life. My uncle was a prof there so he used to give me Kansas shirts and stuff when I was a kid. I went to visit him for Easter when I was 4 in '88. When I was down there was the same time they won the championship with the man, Danny Manning. A fan ever since.

They'll rig the draft lottery like they do every year.

At least you follow a good program. Glad it wasnt Puke or UNC or some other program I hate.

I never understand people who think this. NBA is the only sport I really enjoy watching.
IDK, there's just too much talent, so it just turns into a show-off contest. The team play and excitement you see from college teams just isn't there. I am a bit excited for the Bucks this year for the first time since the big 3. I'll definitely be a fairweather fan if they do well.

I'd rather go to Angel stadium and see a game there.
I love Angel stadium, it's nice, clean, fun. People party it up first in the parking lot before hand, you get free beer, the peanuts rock, and the people there are nice too, minus the occasional weirdos you bump into, but those are pretty much everywhere.

I was happy the Bucks took jabari parker over Wiggins though even though I hate Duke. I like his attitude and he is more NBA ready than Wiggins. There's a hell of a lot of potential for Wiggins, but I never really saw him as a true Jayhawk

I just lose interest if I'm watching a sports game on TV. They just seem to go on forever.

I feel that is 110% correct about music but I know many people that hate the music I like which doesn't bother me one bit.

Free beer at Angel stadium?!?

For every story about a Dodgers or Raiders fan incident there is a story about a Giants or 49ers fan incident.

There's a lot of shitty sports fans because there are a lot of shitty people in the world.

are you sure? I feel like genocide or old incontinent cats have gotta make the list, but I'm generally not so good at these sorts of relative comparisons.
Ehhh, my comparison was limited to types of basketball, Mr. Buzzkill. Women's college basketball is certainly worse than men's college basketball.
