I think it was supposed to have been given back to us during the supposed DDOS attack and downtime.

Then Sony/SEN pushed it back to a later date.

I am going to give a call to them later and see what's up, I don't see anybody asking about it, and probably forgot.

EDIT: Nvm, search engine RPG got it.

^ I have a hunch that it's going to be on PS Plus for the PS4 sometime in the future. But if you need it now, might look into Pravado's library instead of buying it. Or might get it cheaper physically, as have seen of late with BF4.

EA might be resistant to putting that on PSN now that they have that shitty $5 a month service on XB1 to offer it through at a premium.

 
I would like to get back into gamesharing again, but it has changed so much since 5-6 years ago! I rarely hosted back then, so it would look like I will be buying/renting this time around. 

What are phantoms? Are the resell the same as before the change? i.e., as long as I don't delete account, it will be retained?

It is a $5 minimum to add money to an account, anything over $5 can be paid in the exact amount needed. But if you had $6 in an account and needed $1 more for a game, you'd still need to add another $5. Sucks.

 
Now it's true that you can only add in $5 increments, but as long as the account is linked to CC (or Paypal, apparently) if there are not wallet funds it'll just pull from the linked account in the specific amount required for the purchase you're making.

If you had to add in $5 increments and there was no workaround I don't think anybody would want to GS at all; you'd lose the remainder of the $5 every time you made an account.

Yeah that's what I thought too, but wasn't sure enough to say otherwise. If it doesnt work then I might just add Under Defeat to one of those other games, or buy it on my main. But I'm pretty sure you can pay the exact amount with a card, although I dont think I've bought something less than $5 before.

I'm 99% sure that it still adds a minimum of $5 even with a linked CC if your account balance is at $0. That's what it always does with mine because I never leave money on my account, and I don't remember a time where I've bought something less than $5 where it didn't prompt me about the minimum funding thing.

If anymore clarification is needed.

You can buy what ever amount you want only if using CC as your payment method, PSN will add the needed (exact amount) funds to your wallet and use it all at the same time.

The $5 increments is only if you want to add funds directly to your wallet for future use.

Source: My MAIN PSN is hooked to my CC, all purchases I make are taken in exact amount from my CC. (>.< dont hack my acct you hackfgts)

Try buying a .50 avatar or something with no money in your account and a linked CC. It will make you add $5. 

You can pay exact amounts when using a credit if it's over $5. Example: Buying the Alice game for $6.99, sure you can add exactly $6.99, not forced to adding $10.

I've been facing this problem forever, since I like buying small DLC on my main.
